Three points:

1. So far the MP seems to only consist of wave after wave of enemies. I hope this is just a limitation of the demo and not all MP is in the final game. Fighting non-stop waves is fine for a "gauntlet" challenge or a small mini-game, but it gets boring really quickly.

2. Why not include the option of adding AI-controlled teammates? I know a lot of you don't care if you have to jump into a game with people you don't know or have your own teams, but for people who don't and are limited to 2-to-3 person teams, an AI-controlled teammate would help out a lot.

3. Like some other people have said, include a "training" level (or something similar) for new players. A training level wouldn't affect the other three levels, it'd simply give those players with less shooting experience time to warm up and learn the ropes.

At this point I figure someone will come back with this response: "You should just practice and get better at the game!" Believe it or not, some of us have real life commitments and when we do have some spare time, don't feel like spending it all on one game.

Gaming is meant to be an entertaining diversion from real life, not a job in of itself. The main key here is "fun" and since everyone has differing opinions on what fun is, we should allow more options. Even if you don't like the new options, the fact is their use would be up to your discretion, so if you find it makes the game "too easy," then you don't need to use them.

Well You can make gold harder but , give us more credits for gold , if not , its no reason more than the personal challenge

i had done wave 10 on gold with a lvl 8 character in my  team , and we cant do anything without him (asari adept)

I have to say this about the different challenge levels.

First, any challenge level if you let it get out of hand can kill you fast. If you get cocky you can be brought down on a Bronze level challenge just was readily as a Gold, now Gold might do it with a bit more flare, but Bronze can kill you even a group fo 4 20th levels.

This is a good thing.

Not hard if people use the correct abilities on the correct things, ie. Overload shields, warp armour (thats how us Aussies spell it!) also thats why the Human eng class is soo ridiculously op, you can burn through everything solo.

Don't change anything!!! :D:D:D I love how hard it can be! When you've got 4 mates just scraping through the extraction wave all screaming into the mics its the best!! Don't change anything just add more such as easier/harder difficulties, unlocks, maps and so on I can't believe this is only a small part of the full game! I think we have our game of the year already!!!!! I've been playing the multiplayer more or less non stop since I solved that Facebook puzzle thingy and it has stop me from constantly playing GoW3 so its really good! I love the co-op so much! But the single player will be better somehow!! Bioware... YOU GUYS CANT DO ANYTHING WRONG I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!!

How many times does it have to be said? No one wants to reduce the level of difficultly in Bronze through Gold. All we'd like is a setting that's easier than Bronze, such as "training" or something else to help non-shooter gamers gain some experience without completely overwhelming us. That wouldn't take away the challenge in any of the other levels.

I think some of you also take it for granted that you'll have four players. My wife and I play co-op together, so it's just the two of us. We don't want to play alongside strangers, if for no other reason, we're not in the mood to get yelled at or told how much we apparently suck.

I sincerely doubt we're the only ones in that situation. That's why an option to include AI-controlled teammates would help out immensely. Unless the game adjusted itself based on the number of players (which it doesn't seem to do), fighting a battle that's designed for four people with only two amounts to nothing but frustration.

I was stoked when, within the first 4 days, I'd unlocked 4 classes and several weapons.
But, since then, I've unlocked MAYBE two weapons and NO characters.
P.S. I've been buying nothing but Veteran packs, so it's not like I haven't been trying.
I hope the final version has an N7 pack or something that guarantees 2-3 uncommon cards and/or weapons.

An AI controlled teammate, or two, would be nice. I've had a few games searching and getting matched with random people who do something stupid and quit in an early round; 1 person even quit as soon as I heard his character say that "lost shields" thing, which then makes it tougher for the people who remain (which is sometimes just me). AI should be limited to basic classes, and always be ~5 levels lower than the lowest character in the current game with a max of 1 or 2 per game, to encourage team cooperation.

Personally id like them not to add AI or atleast have an option to remove them from play because I don't think its too hard with only two people me and one of my mates can beat bronze with any lvl characters and we can beat sliver with high lvl characters and if there is AI they will take away from our scores and who ever has highest score basically has bragging rights for awhile its a very bro multiplayer AI will take that away also they will die and you'll try to revive them then you'll die

I don't think the difficulty levels scale correctly, there's too much of a gap between Bronze and Silver, making it either really easy for me (Viper + 1 headshot kills = take down entire platoons in the blink of an eye). Silver on the other hand is pure slaughter in public groups, but fairly managable when playing with friends.

The lack of reward for it makes it a no-go though, and that's a bit of a shame as everybody's grinding for cash to unlock things anyway.

Also, we need more awards. 20 headshots is way too easy to make, I'd be more chuffed to get a nice 100 headshots, and so on. Same for kills etc.

A reward increase for completing a mission with only two people would be nice too, as it is now you're more likely to get less rewards because you miss out on badge points.

How do you set the difficulty or choose the difficulty for the match? Anytime I go for quick match I end up in Gold most of the time?

when you select quick match you see 4 bars location enemies challenge and other one anyways you can select challenge from random to bronze/silver/gold

I've gotten to wave 11 on silver at the highest. I personally like how challenging the multiplayer portion of this game is.

The only complaint I have is that I wish there was actual chat in the lobby room so you can chat with other without having to use a microphone.

I liked the difficulties but after the maintanence (Feb 22) it seemed like the AI were doing more damage in multiplayer?  I mean I was playing as a krogan lvl 20 and got one shot on silver...that shouldn't be the krogan has 1200 health and 1600 shields :(

The highest I ever got was wave 7 with 2 level 20 slarian infiltrators.  I seriously suggest trying them if you don't use them already.

Well, the idea is to give you the option of AI-controlled teammates.  You wouldn't have to use them.  So if you wanted a two-man team to take on a Gold challenge, then you'd be able to do so; however, the AI-controlled teammates would be there for those who do want/need them.

Silver is pretty easy. Good way of getting fast credits. I personally don't like playing on lower than gold but that is not always an option. When the real MP comes out I wll start my characters on silver even at level 1.

I think players are mistaking Level and Ranks. Rank 1 - 24 usually have Tier 1 or 2 gear not even upgraded. I understand you want to play with the big boys but you can not keep up on damage side required. Please go level up and get better gear and skills before venturing into grown up lands.

Just beated Gold challenge on Noveria with 3 Infiltrators using Widow Sniper rifle and 1 Asari Adept.
4 Shots while cloaked with Widow and Atlas goes down, even on Gold. Phantoms are a b*tch though

the level of challenge is perfect for all difficultys, I max out all my classes within a week of the early demo release and my thoughts on it is that bronze is just right for players just getting started, silver is good if your playing by yourself and hooking up with randoms, and gold is awesome when your working with a team ( though i was only able to get to round 10 and winning the credits before our team failed the round). Also i was wondering if the levels of your classes only count for one playthrough of the game, at the moment im starting to get a little bored so if your characters can start at level 1 with each playthrough it would be nice because than the challange would always be there when you max out the classes.

I've beaten silver quite a few times, but I didn't even make it past the first wave on gold... xD
