Both have happened to me.

I've cloaked and then promptly ducked into a new position, while watching the guys shoot at where I was, not where I moved to. I'm cool with that.

However I've had them shoot me when they shouldn't have.

Example: I'm hiding behind a wall in MP, and they're shooting at the guy a ways off to my right. I hit cloak and run forward so I can move to a better position and eliminate them. The second I jump out, fully cloaked, I get ventilated. Not by turrets or Atlas, but regular troopers.

So I think that the improved AI could be hiding a potentially serious bug.

I noticed this in the single player. A lot of times when I cloaked I was taking fire from all enemies. But I know at least one time when I cloaked I was able to get behind the shielded guys. So it's not always, but it is more than it should be, I would think. Even in the first level I was taking heavy fire from the Batarian Husk things while cloaked. It didn't seem to be working right at all :(

If I see an enemy suddenly go invisible on the battlefield, I'm going to be wondering the entire time wondering where the hell he/she is. So I'll definitely be shooting where they were and possibly where they could be going.

And you can still see a silhouette moving about, so you don't go entirely invisible.

This is still an issue in the full game, apparently, Guardians seem to be able to see me, and some Cerberus operatives melee me when I get too close.

im under the impression that if you are the last person alive (no squadmates or other players in mp), all enemies completely ignore your stealth
