Its awesome, really surprised by how good it is. Thought it was kind of a gimmick when announced, more $$$ for EA, but it turns out its a legit game in its own right.

Games I've had on it so far I've loved. Looking forward to seeing what the final game has to offer regarding it.

It's pretty repetitive, and depends on who you play with. With randoms on higher difficulty it's meh but with friends it's okay. Can't really give an opinion based off of two maps though.

Its amazing. Alot of customization, alot of variety for characters.

It gets Repetitive mostly because we have to only fight Cerberus, I hope there is a Mix version in the full game, where one wave its Cerberus, the Next is Geth, the following whatever else they offer, but of course in a random order.
and as much as dislike I like the Store Packs It actually makes it rewarding when you unlock new characters...its has its pros and cons.
Idk maybe the full game will have more packs...like Spec Ops packs where it cost like 100k or more with a chance of unlocking rare weapons and chracters.

Despite initial backlash over the announcement and constant badgering and trolling of many members, I was actually quite curious about MP. It definately didn't disappoint me.

So far I love it. Extremely intelligent enemy AI (this is a big surprise) that come at you in droves and forces you to work as a team. Weapon modifications, armor mods, multiple weapons, character customizations (most are locked though), etc. After a while it feels like you're playing your own personal Commander Shepard as part of a team against nonstop enemies.
From the looks of it there are multiple enemy types, but only Cerberus in the demo. Even then there are still alot of enemies.
Assault troopers are your common fodder (though they come at you so much it can still kill a slow player) although they do have ALOT of health.
Centurions are basically the same as AT except with shields and smoke grenades. I also think they're slightly smarter.
Engineers are a big pain. They lay down turrets which just mow you down nonstop and carry shotguns if you get close.
Nemesis are best compared to the Ghosts from Starcraft if you've ever played those games. Sexy girls dressed in black carrying sniper rifles with mad accuracy.
Guardians carry riot-shields and a powerful pistol. It's awesome because they don't just drop the shield for no reason, the thing is full-body and the only way to kill them is to either flank them as a team or (if you're really good with combat) send a sniper bullet through the extremely small hole in their shield up to their brain.
Phantoms are basically the hardest troops. Once again, sexy girls but you'll come to hate them. I'll leave this one as a surprise
And last the Atlas which we've all seen.
The really cool part is how the AI works together. I've seen Guardians forming entire walls of riot shields with Assault Troopers advancing from behind providing support fire. I've seen Assault Troopers cover each other as their teammates move to flank me (these guys carry a 1-hit KO melee attack same as you have to keep your distance). I've had Centurions charge me and my teammates into hallways that the engineers have loaded with turrets waiting for easy kills. There have been times when me and my teammates were taking cover from an Atlas mech supported by ATs and a Nemesis would climb up into a building and snipe up from a snipers nest. And that's without even getting into the Phantoms.
Starting off you'd be lucky to even survive Bronze, the enemy is really smart without being unfair and they come at you without mercy. They use jetpacks, ladders, leap from buildings, and drop from the sky ready to flank you. As you can probably tell I'm really impressed by this and for good reason. Horde Mode or Firefight Mode all had the enemy bumrush you without a care in the world, this time enemies use cover and operate as a team. When you survive on gold or even silver there's a great sense of accomplishment and that's what every good multiplayer game should have.

Am I the only one that found it buggy? No idea how it does its matchmaking, but I have serious lag issues (I'm from NZ) especially noticable with the vanguard biotic charge. I'd charge in, but then teleport between where I charged to and from, back and forth every second. I noticed that rolling solidified my position and was able to carry on, though fell through the map once doing that.
Gets repetitive with only 1 enemy type and 2 levels but it is a demo. The different classes on offer and the races within each class give you plenty of variety, and the booster pack feature is both a boon and a curse due to it's randomness, if you specifically want to unlock one thing, eg the quarian engineer, good luck.
For all the 'good' AI you see, you still see some stupid things, like the enemy advancing towards the entire squad with their backs turned, or them vaulting over a wall directly into my shotgun barrel and the rest of my squad, but for the most part it's decent.
ps Vanguard all the way. Nova and biotic charge are a vicious combination.

If you are going to resurrect an old thread, at least contribute significantly to the discussion. Otherwise, it's just spam.
