High-res textures included in ME3 (can we get a dev to confirm this?)

I can't believe Stanley actually took time to come in here, write a paragraph about banning someone, and not even answer the question with a simple yes or no!! HOLY CRAP LOL.

It's probablt because he has no idea about the answer.

He has the power to make this request known to the devs or something like that. We're not asking him to give us the high-resolution pack.

How can he not? Isn't he part of the team? Don't they have meetings or announcements in the office saying "Hey guys, we need to make a texture pack" or do only like...2 people work on it? Come on...

Even if he didn't, he obviously came INTO the thread, wrote about nothing, and left. At LEAST say "Hey guys, well I don't know the answer, but I'll be sure to ask someone who does and get back to you." That took 10 seconds to type...

No he's just a forum moderator but he can ask around and tell us what we want to know, which is what bothers me.

Some times I think Bioware has gotten too big to care much about what us the little people think. They seem to only really respond these days when it starts impacting the bottom line as the outcry did with DA2.

Alot of the things they've been doing reeks of basically "We know better then you, besides you'll buy it anyway."

Yeah lol. On another thread we were talking about animations/textures and I like to refer to some youtube vids for how I feel about how lame BW is going about with this hush hush and Stanley comes in saying "Stop spamming youtube videos, or get possibly banned" It's not like I'm forcing people to watch them. If people click on the link or not is up to the person. He never comment's about the situation about what's going on with the PC.:pinched:

It's too late to expect anything today, maybe tomorrow, or the next day, or the day after that...

I think we'll just have to wait for mods at this point.

What I find ironic is that we've had countless threads requesting if a high resolution texture pack is possible and important community people like Chris Priestly instead of trying to at least send the message to the devs, he comments on useless threads or just locks troll threads. They are ignoring us. Hell look at my old thread, 16 pages and still nothing http://social.biowar...index/9232655/1
I even wrote his name on the title and STILL nothing. What we got was a locked thread by Stanley because console trolls came and ruined the thread.

Same thing with my thread:

http://social.biowar...index/9256611/1

Anf look this news from eurogamer thats was posted in there:

BioWare explains why PC Mass Effect 3 doesn't support gamepads
There's no BioWare masterplan behind Mass Effect 3 not supporting gamepads on PC - the team was overstretched and couldn't spare the time and effort required.

"There is a development cost in terms of time/effort to get all the graphical user interfaces so 360 buttons show up on PC," senior designer
Manveer Heir explained to Eurogamer reader j0hn385 on Twitter.

"It may seem minor, but our GUI team was already stretched thin, and things were coming in at the last minute, so we couldn't add more work."

j0hn385 responded that BioWare's workforce and budget is large enough to cope. Other games routinely support the Xbox 360 gamepad, j0hn385 pointed out, so this smacked of a "we don't give a damn" attitude by BioWare.

"Definitely not 'we don't give a damn'," Manveer Heir riposted. "It's unfortunate and I understand why people are upset, but there are dev realities, sadly."

So they don't have to time to work on simple thing like control pad support...

About that guy on the @masseffect twitter saying there is High Texture in game i will remember you guys again:

CHRIS PRIESTLY SAID THE SAME THING ABOUT ME2.

Don't espect too much for the PC again guys. :crying:

Looks like the control pad support issue is the same as in ME2. The commands and bindings are there, they just didn't take the time and resources to add the GUI mappings.

Nah, I simply wont buy the game. I'm not going to pay for mediocrity.

Oh come on... I admit I am a graphics **** but I would never miss a fantastic game like this just because of some low res textures.

I found the demo very dissapointing, the possibilty of high res textures gave me a little bit of hope, but if there aren't going to be any then I'll simply lose interest.

I agree 100%. No one should ever pay for mediocrisy. Now if only half the planet shared that decisiveness you have...the world would probably be a better place.

Why? So Bioware can release his awesome work as DLC later? Oh no I did NOT just go there lololololololololol. I can see it now. "Here's some high res textures BSN member JeanLuc761 took his precious time to make so separated them into four packs and will release them via seasons. We will charge you $3 per pack. Enjoy!" C'mon...you see where I'm coming from right?

That's how ridiculous they are. Unreal Engine already comes with controller pad support, and for some reason they couldn't make it work.

I won't be paying a dime to play this game.

This...there is no way I am missing this game over textures.  But, to each his own.

Atakamua has a point and I also agree with her, I won't buy the game at the launch.
I will watch the gameplay videos, if they were good then I'm willing to spend some money on ME3, otherwise EA won't get none from me.

I have concerns beyond the textures, a demo is supposed to show how the game will be, instead of this we had cutted content that doesn't show how the dialogs, weapon systems and mods work.
Even the combat was cutted.

And please, no 2 GB limit excuse, it's an insult having to hear this.

If it was just the textures, I wouldn't care at all.
Its beyond that.
