Is Baldurs Gate 1 compatable with Vista? I know the last two are.

Yes. Best to do a custom(full) install to a location such as c:\\games rather than the default location.
Multiplayer games need to be started in Windowed mode.

Thank You Gate70, this game is near and dear to my heart, It started me in my search for game play, after I finished with it, I went to games like Never Winter, and Ice Wind Dale.

Do you only have Baldur's Gate 1? or do you have Baldur's Gate 2 and ToB as well?
If you have them all then you could probably either download EasyTuTu or Baldur's Gate Trilogy to get the first game running on BG2's improved engine...
