I couldn't find a screenshot online, but the enemy mages wrap themselves in some kind of bubble and become untargetable for a while. What is that?
In Origins, every enemy mage had Fireball. In DA II, they have this...

A spell in the arcane school. We have it as well it just not: Make us invunerable and does not last nearly as long.

Arcane Barrier I believe it is.
Its in the game, its just not as near as good as in Origins.

The Arishok has it as well, then. During the second qunari fight in the keep (if you turn down the duel), he sometimes uses it.

nope that is his sarabas casting a barrier on him. You want to take those two down fast btw.
