This may be the wrong place to ask these questions as it seems more of a customer support issue, but the EA Customer Support email loggin thingy gives me some kind of direction/redirection error that I didn't write down or keep track of to quote here. Since Mass Effect 2 is the primary topic of concern, at the moment, all other thought processes; both logical, illogical, and forum links; brought me here. Please bear with me. This is longish and I do get the point, I think, maybe.

I did not have Origin until I bought Battlefield 3. When Origin Installed, it found my Command and Conquer games and Mass Effect Pinnacle Station. It did not find Mass Effect 2, which was and is installed. If found Dragon Age 2 which was not and is not installed. There are probably other games I own that it did not find either. My particular questions follow:

1. Is Mass Effect 2 on Origin?

2. If so why doesn't mine show up? I pre-ordered it and have physical copies of the disks, which I vastly prefer to downloading because my internet is garbage and i want to be able to play even after society collapses. Is the fact that I have a physical copy instead of a downloaded copy the reason for this issue?

3. Is there a way can import it, and others, to Origin?

4. Does it even matter?

5. I've been unable to launch Mass Effect 2 with the disks I have. I appear to be missing disk 1. I don't remember if a disk is necessary, but being able to launch from Origin would negate that issue, yes? I ask because of Mass Effect 3 coming soon and I wanted to be up to date on my characters. I also haven't done some of the DLC for Mass Effect 2 and would like to do that before ME 3 launches.

The Kingdoms of Amalur offers Mass Effect 3 content and the Mass Effect 3 offers Kingdoms of Amalur content. That's all well and good, but when I went to download the KA demo it asked me how I wanted it; Origin, Steam, Xbox, PS3. Most of my games are on Steam, however, since Origin came out and BioWare is working closely with them, I have no problem using Origin. The problem comes from not being certain that any content I obtain will be imported to my Mass Effect 3 when it comes out. I've read the FAQs and seems that this isn't a problem, but I wanted to make certain since only half of my EA games show up in Origin.

6. Is the fact that only some of my games show up in Origin an oversight their part or do I need to do something to them to make them show up? I've thought about entering my code keys, but I'm concerned about it not accepting them because they've already been redeemed at some previous date. Plus, if it found these few, these happy few, it should find the others as well. I have gone to my Origin Account page and added these games there, but this doesn't seem to help.

Any positive and constructive aid is much appreciated. If I need to bring this up with Origin I'll try again.

It would seem that I answered some of my own questions when writing this post. Strange how that works. I went back and redeemed my code successfully for ME 2 on Origin. However, the game still wont start. I've seen a fix, but It looks like I need the appropriate disk. I could simply uninstall and download/install which would probably fix it. However, I still have the problem of not a not so good internet connection. I guess I need to find the missing disk. I am nervously calling this issue fixed. If it's not then I'll make a new post.
