 Hey, just wondering if anyone knows for sure wether we get to keep the stuff we earn or not when the full game comes out. I'd say I wouldn't work for them again, but I'd be lying. I just can't stop playing it. I'd just rather not be wasting my time unlocking stuff that will only go as far as the demo.

It would be nice if there was a special pack or something you'd get in the full game for playing the demo or getting to a certain level in the demo.

well darn. I hope they at least give us a bonus or something. I was pissed with how many packs I had to buy just to get my Mattock. Am glad they made it standard though, had it back in ME2. Loved it.

A quick search for the words "carry over" yielded a full page of results regarding demo progress carrying over, many of which were made today, and some of which were even responded to by Bioware employees, in which they stated that demo progess would NOT CARRY OVER.

Seriously, this question is getting asked like twenty times an hour.

At first I did, but the more I think about it the more I am looking forward to releveling my characters and unlocking everything again.

Why do people keep asking this?

Has anything ever earned in any demo/beta EVER carried over to the live version? Exercise common sense. I've had my fair share of beta experiences, and of course I've played many demos. A demo is a trial of the game, not an early start for it.

Second, if people don't play the demo who's fault is that?

To the poster above me- I'v played in hundreds of betas/demos. The Bad Company 1 beta let you carry over to the full game.

well, your familiarity with the game and experience about how to build the best character is carried over. Now you have a chance to fix the mistakes you've made in the demo builds.

The point of the demo is to have fun, and get a taste of what you'll get with the full game. If you're not having fun, and/or don't like the way the demo is working... well.

Have fun before the game is released if you already know you are getting it and if you are not sure, you can try out the game beforehand...

like i saw someones comment there should be a pack for players who were in the demo that unlocks character, gun, ect.
