1. More Enemy Types
Shooting the same Assault Trooper and Centurion over and over again definitely had more lasting entertainment than I thought, but still I wonder if it will be able to carry the MP mode past more than a few weeks.
I realize we can fight different Factions, but since you can only face up to 7 of them at a time (out the 19 enemy types) I can really imagine this getting old soon.
So... why not introduce new enemies that that may or may not coincide with new story DLC. *hinthint*
2. Multi-Faction Enemy Option
To add onto my last point I'll propose an "and/or" solution tied to this one as well.
Enemies are always more interestng when fighting together, right? Then why not let the 3 factions of enemies (Cerby, Reapers, Geth) fight alongside each other? That will add the most replayability to this mode using as little resources as possible. Cerby/Geth, Cerby/Reaper, or Repaer/Geth. Or an epic Cerby/Reaper/Geth 'splosion-fest! Imagine the possibilities!
Don't forget my first suggestion, though. New enemies are also just perfect. You could do both, actually.
3. A Store that Doesn't Consist of Random Packs
I like to know what I'm buying and not spend hours-worth of hard-earned credits just to pick out of a hat. I should be able to save up for things I directly purchase from an in-depth shop. It's simply a more enjoyable system.
4. More Objective Types
Stay in the Circle! Kill those specific enemies! Disable those Devices!
It definitely adds to the MP mode, but it risks getting repetitive and annoying if it's the same thing over and over again. Try adding something new like defeding an object or picking up something to bring to another location. Simple stuff.
5. Make Objectives Optional
The original OXM article on the MP said objectives were optional and I was disappointed that the match ended if you failed to complete one. I do not like failing an entire round of MP just becuase the game decided I should kill an Atlas in no more than a little over a minute without a missle.
Really, credits should be plenty of incentive to complete them. Making it madatory just feels... cheap when a game ends because of it.
7. Slghtly Bigger Maps in DLC
I realize that there's a balance in map size when you're only taking 4 players into account and to Bioware's credit they're close to the sweet-spot, but I think the maps could be a little bigger. Bigger maps in DLC would also address my next point.
8. More Spawn Points for Enemies
I always know where the enemy is going to come from. I enjoy a sense of unpredictablilty in a mode such as this as to where the enemies will appear and that's just not present in the maps I've been able to play.
9. A MM Lobby Timer
I think we can all agree that waiting for that one person to be "Ready" for the next match is annoying as hell. Use this to solve the issue.
10. Moar Race Options
Don't care. Male Quarians. Geth. Volus. Drell Infiltrator. Just... moar races.
