MP is f*cking awesome! People b*tching about it should try it instead of whining about something they don't know about, punks! Good job Bioware

When I heard about the Multiplayer a couple of months ago I groaned and thought that it would suck and be tacked on.
I'm pleased to know how wrong I was. I'm having a lot of fun with it. Would I be right in assuming that our characters won't be transferable?

This would be epic/awesome except for one small detail. I keep getting this message: "YOU HAVE LOST YOUR CONNECTION TO THE ME3 SERVER. YOU MUST CONNECT AGAIN" I have no choice but to call BS on this one...

Am I the only one who is loving the Noveria background? Those mountains, ahh it feels good to be back.

Ok, so I now have to amend/contradict my earlier post. I am sorry I doubted you Bioware. On the MP at least...I just had an hour fly by. Playing MP with "crazyMr.bubbles" and just kicking wave after wave of ass...so fun. The MP is the training ground for Sp, I guess. And maybe the real reason for this demo... maybe...

Really Fun!. Love it how there are mini objectives to complete to encourage people to move instead of camping one area and fending off enemies all the time. Was a little worried that it would be quickly put together and not feel complete, but i was wrong and i am really looking forward to multiplayer in the full version of the game.

Demo is awesome! Loving every bit of it. Lucky it's the weekend, two days of ME3.

So are our MP characters transferable?

I was skeptical but this is really fun.

Im sure it is fun, looking forward to it... development time would still have been better used on SP.

I tried it on the Pc last night, was really nervous as I'd never done any mp before.
Absolutely loved it
Played just like the main game (which was a worry to me, although why it wouldn't play the same is the question -
just my mp-aphobia I guess
)
Joined a random game, which is probably the way I'll continue to go since my play-times are as erratic as I am so planning anything is never a good idea. There were 3 of us on Noveria (which is gorgeous by the way ) against Cerberus, we lasted until the middle of wave ten before all three of us were knocked out, around 20 minutes play time.
I was relieved to see I can still use Adrenaline Rush as a Soldier - I'm not the best shooter so this is my favourite ability. Since the mouse control is a lot better than ME2, I didn't suck as much as I feared.
Looking forward to seeing how it meshes together with the main game come March.
Good job Bioware MP team

Doesn't work for me. How do I activate the alliance network? It says EA servers are unavailable

Gotta say, MP is a lot of fun. I was not sure if it would work, but I'm convinced. Well done BioWare!

Never thought I'd say this but after trying it out a bit I'd say MP looks a lot more impressive than SP. Big open arena, smart enemies and the unlock/Xp/stat system is great. Especially love how at first I can only use 1, random alien race.
But I didn't know the multiplayer was going to be like Horde. I thought it would be like story mode going from A to B. So this makes me ask where is split-screen? I could understand that big story-oriented levels are not split-screen, but this is very simplistic arcade mode.

Really enjoyed the MP part of the demo. It's fun to play and easy to get to grips with. Though there are a couple of things I hope are improved in the final game.
I did encounter a bit of lag and it's not that easy getting a full team. Maybe there should be drop in/drop out ability with MP because it's annoying when your teammates are dead and you manage to save the round only to find they've all quit on you.
Also I hope that the multiplayer is more varied in the final game. I expect there will be other modes, but I'd like there to be more variation to the mode we've got a preview of. It's a lot of fun, but I think there should be more variation than kill one wave on enemies, press a couple of buttons, kill another wave, then kill enemy vip's and repeat.

I can't say I particularly enjoyed it. Mainly it's a philosophical thing: "wave after wave of enemies" isn't what I associate RPGs or even story-driven games with. I felt the same way about multiplayer in Assassin's Creed. The combat put in service of the story is fine, but this "combat only" COD/Battlefield element...even its connection via "Galaxy at War" doesn't do anything for me. Anything related to ME3, I just want to be in the main single-player experience.
There's nothing *bad* about the multiplayer itself - it seems like a decent horde mode, but it feels like it should be its own product and not a part of Mass Effect 3. The gameplay for gameplay's sake is something I can enjoy when I'm playing Battlefield or Team Fortress, but having it here in ME3 just really rubs me the wrong way.

The multiplayer portion of the demo was surprisingly refreshing and addictive... I've found myself wanting to play "just one more round" for hours after I planned to stop haha.
Kinda curious though... How will this be implemented into the main story experience(I havent played the single player portion as of yet because I dont want to spoil it for when it releases, my apologizes if it's answered in there)? Will it be a main menu access hub kind of thing like it is now? Or will it be a terminal access in the ship kind of like the shadow broken missions?
It would be kinda cool if it was an interface hub, kind of like Shepard checking in on the military operational status of the galaxy.
