Does anyone know what choices from ME1 and ME2 have an effect on ME3? Specificly Citadel Homecoming, Samesh Bhatia is trying to retrieve his wife's body from the Alliance authorities after she was killed on Eden Prime. I'm prepairing to play ME1 and ME2 again before I dive into ME3, and the sooner I start, the sooner I can get to ME3. I really need to know about the ME1 Citadel Homecoming quest. Thanks!

Well some stuff like the Ranchi is very clear, but I'm not sure about the Homecoming quest.

Despite what the haters and trolls say a few of them do effect the ME3.
Some of the little quests will come back sometimes in little ways that wouldn't be there otherwise. Just try to do as many of them as you can and go with your gut about the choices.

It just feels like Bhatia's body will probably be important to helping save peoples lives, or maybe come up with something effective for fighting those drone things.

It could go very different, but this is my prediction:
Give the body, and Samesh thanks you again in his new restaurant.
Don't touch the body, and the Alliance will be better with shooting. Samesh will be slightly disgruntled.

She was killed by Geth, not Reapers. Why would they use her body to study Reaper soldiers?

New technology, specifically weapons used by the Geth and presumed granted to them by Sovereign.
Afaik (ME2), returning the body gives a restaurant in Earth where the military eat for free and a downturn in the number of applicants for the Alliance Military due to concerns that tech levels have fallen behind the Geth.
I assume that keeping the body maintains the status quo in terms of Alliance numbers.
If it is going to be translated into ME3 I assume it would be a penalty/benefit to Military ground troops and/or defence and weapons tech. It'll probably be very minor though. Enough to turn the tide of battle? Doubt it but it may influence certain things.
I would just go with whichever option you feel is right and see what happens.
