By all means have the default set to <space> if thats what you want but at least let use map separate keys for each action.
Space key has way to many functions.

If you're use to the mappings of sprint and interact in other games, I'd suggest rebinding use/sprint/storm to left shift and E. It works wonders if you're like me and impulsively hit E when trying to interact with something. I know that's not specifically what you're asking, but it works quite for me.
