 Has anyone else experienced problems with their console after downloading the demo?

The demo froze the first time I used it and then when playing  a newly purchased  game today it has frozen three times.

Anyone else having similar problems? Or has this happened to other peoples PS3 before?

If you mean problems with other games and with the console's function, then no, no problems for me.
