I've got 3 races unlocked. Krogan, Drell and Quarian. I'm just wondering if anyone else has more than 3 races or did BioWare put a limit on how many you can unlock in the demo?

How do you unlock stuff?! Do you just keep buying Veteran Packages? I've bought like 6!

Both recruit and veteran packs can unlock races, but it's very rare. I've been trying to get quarian infiltrator since day one. I must have bought a 100 veteran packs by now, and it still hasn't showed up. Got a bunch of other nice races and classes though, which I'm sure I won't have time to try before everything resets at launch

Veteran packs have a much higher % chance by the way.

I've got Krogan, Turian, Drell, and recently got Asari, I don't think there is a limit.

Edit: forgot I also had a Quarian as well

My credits often don't roll over so I've only managed to get 2 vet unlocks, no races, but I did get a Quarian in my starter pack.

Off topic, but it's insanely frustrating to finishing a mission, get 18k credits, finish another and get 16k credits and find out that you now have 3k credits stored up.

Silver gives you a lot more credits if you do good. I'm usually buying 2 veteran packs per match by now.

ive done like 30 levels since it first became available and ive only managed to unlock the salarian

Ah, well it's good to hear there's not a limit then.

I unlocked my three races quite early and since then I've only unlocked weapons, weapon upgrades and customization options for Humans I already had.

The problem I get is the credits I had, the credits I'm awarded and the credits I end up with are random. Like if I'm awarded 18k credits for finishing a mission, I'll often end up reaching the screen with 7k credits. If I do another and get another 18k I'll hit the ready screen and have 3k credits.

I don't think switching to silver is going to change the random nature of my credits, something is screwing up with EA servers in the updates. It's irritating for the demo, but it'll be really really freaking annoying if this bug carries over to the actual game.

Yeah I've been buying Veteran Packs since Monday and have not gotten any other classes unlocked. Would love to experiment more with the other species but it's just not possible if all i get is guns with upgrades.

All I want is asari! but I do have a vanguard drell and sentinel turian. I think there are some that you can't unlock like an adept drell, infiltrator quarian, krogan sentinel, salarian engineer, turisan soldier and vanguard asari. If anyone unlocked one of those please let me know. A vanguard asari would be awesome but I still nedd the adept asari.

I haven't unlocked any and I've been playing for nearly a week now.


No complaints though. I don't mind the random system. Keeps things interesting and gives me time to get my other characters leveled up before I move on.

I've unlocked all the races except for the Salarian. It's kind of annoying since I've now started getting just regular blues in my Veteran packs. Weapon-wise I only need the Revenant as well as a bunch of levels for rare weapons.

As of this afternoon, I have 1 of each race unlocked. I've been putting just about all of my spare time into this multiplayer since unlocking early access from facebook. I started out only wanting the Turian, and today I finally unlocked one.

i had been trying to get the asari vanguard, anyone been able to get it ? i had buying Veteran packs like crazy

I'm surprised no one's posted in here about the fact that in the demo only two races per class are available. You cannot unlock the Asari Vanguard (sadly ) till the main game launches. You can however hack it I've heard...
