I'd like confirmation that FOV will be adjustable in the final release.

The amount of motion sickness i experienced when playing this demo was astronomical. I actually can't play your game thanks to the ridiculously small FOV.

Bioware, I love you, you should know that by now, but please, PLEASE respond to those of us that are asking this question.

I don't care if the FOV is adjustable via config files, or what, but it HAS to be able to be changed, or I can't play Mass Effect 3.

Please, just confirm or deny that plan on fixing this issue, or are giving us the option to change it in the full version.

Thank you.

Go try Marathon 2 HD from Xbox Live if you want the true definition of motion sickness!!

I want adjustable FOV too and I do not have/get motion sickness, I wanted it since ME2 as I did not like the FOV in that game and favour ME1's (as well as everything else about that game). This is extremely simple to have as an option.

You know, I have been thinking if it's something EA could have beed sued for? I mean, they are releasing the game that makes people sick, they know it, they didn't warn us, they know how to fix it, they don't seem to be doing it...

I don't want to trawl through all the pages of this thread. Do we have adjustable FOV or not? If not, why not?

Did ME2 have it?

Thanks!

Their answer so far more or less is "lol get a bigger monitor noob", completely ignoring the point which is that unadjustable FOV causes many people to experience EXTREME discomfort whilst playing, and can even render the game unplayable for some people.

It's not in the demo and they haven't said that the full game will have it. So it's probably not in there, no reason given on why.

Also ME 2 did not have it. But it did have holstering which pulled the FOV out a bit.

I'd say yes.

They have motion sickness warnings in every game.  And, the FOV is similar in most titles these days.  I would love to be able to change it, but will deal with mods, etc.

Good luck in making a lawsuit over it.  Although, anything could happen.  I still shake my head at the moronic lady who sued McDonalds because she spilled hot coffee on herself and said that they didn't TELL her it was hot.

Yeah because it was way hotter than it should've been.

Bumpety bump. Also EA/BW are behind times if they cant have a FoV adjust option in the game, considering the average screen a gamer uses has already passed 24"(atleast in US and Europe, dont know about asia) Here in finland a study by a local gaming mag, turned out the average screen size as something between 27-28" so not having a fov adjust option in the game these days shows inconsiderate short sightedness from EA/BW. for petes sake, even killing floor has it, and they had already when it was a god damn mod!!! let that sink in for a while :P

I'd like a FOV adjuster as well. On twitter, they said they improved FOV, but it's actually worse in comparison to ME2. Please, please think of the children!

Motion sickness -- yeah that sucks.
I'm not having any trouble with the ME3 demos, thankfully. (Speaking as a player who has to avoid first person shooter games because of motion sickness.) Check your camera angle, set it and don't alter it around while playing. Do you wear glasses?

my setup is 32" sony tv at 16:9 aspect ratio. And I'm sitting 5ft or so from the screen.
