I played a random seesion and played with some guys who were really into games like Gears. After playing this demo they told me they're convinced to buy this game and told me how much better this game is compared to games like Gears of Wars and COD.
Hey BioWare I met new fans of yours

ME3 has Gears and COD fans now?
Pre order cancelled!
Seriously though that's cool. At least this demo is gaining Bioware some new fans.

Gears still has a better cover/movement system imo but aside from that yeah after playing the demo I must say I'm very very impressed with this multiplayer. As fun and addicting as Gears' Horde mode is I'm honestly liking this a bit more. It's faster paced and offers more dynamic objectives than Horde mode. Combine it with a well designed class & level up system and you've got a pretty addicting multiplayer mode on your hands. It's really no wonder it's starting to draw in other shooter fans.

Mass Effect 3 gameplay is similar to Gears. I can understand why they like it. Either way, it's good to see that Mass Effect is expanding the fans.

Now that Shepard's story is told, A multiplayer spin off would be totally worth it, from this demo alone, I know I would buy it.
A team adversarial mode (deathmatch or objectives, ctf, whatever...) the co-op mode we already have, throw in some more guns and upgrade... there's really nothing that's stopping ME from being one of the Multiplayer contenders.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that really enjoyed Gears, but prefers ME multiplayer. I can't put it down...it's so addicting. I'd get burned out playing Gears after a couple of hours...this? I could play it all night! HahaRiot Inducer wrote...

My roommate is big into Battlefield and Halo. He's never played ME before, but I sat him down to play ME3 MP with me and a couple of friends (SgtPepper667 and MissFish) today. A few minutes ago I heard him start up the demo on his own, and now he's having a blast playing the MP. He told me he's going to buy the entire trilogy. JUST the MP sold him on the entire trilogy.
I didn't think BioWare could implement the MP like this. I don't like MP generally, but I'm addicted...and this is just the demo! Bravo, Bioware...bravo.

I've been seeing this a lot too. My brother whom is religiously a Gears of War gamer, was stuck on it immediately after he saw me curve-shoot a Warp blast. I really like it myself. It's simple, and yet complex at the same time. You can level up your character how you'd like, but when it comes to shooting, you know what you have to do already.
