Or at least be improved to match the unlocks with the way you play the game, i haven't even touched a sniper rifle yet, but i already have 6 Sniper Rifle Upgrades and not a single M8 Avenger upgrade or mod even though that's practically the only weapon i've been using.
Unlockable races also need a separate store, or be unlocked according to a class' progression (e.g. unlocking the female adept at Adept lvl 10, the Asari at Adept lvl 15 and the Drell at Adept lvl 20)

BioWare said there would be more kind of pack allowing for better and easier reward. Honestly they can't undo the system at this stage in my opinion so we will have to live with it.

I'm also kinda frustrated at the system too. But in a strange way its exciting. Its like playing the lottery at this point. I'm pretty sure I'm not going to get the items I want but when I DO, its like winning .... the lottery. Hah.

A compromise should be for us to be able to trade with our friends.

I like the random system as it's exiting although it would be better if you you could buy a race pack, an assault rifle pack etc. Trading would also be awesome.

Yeah, but that isn't helping much either.

Higher packs only increase the chance of you obtaining an upgrade/weapon/character, ANY upgrade/weapon/character.

We do realize that this is the demo and that we are limited to two boxes with very small chances of unlocking worthwhile gear but this isn't all going to change when the full game releases.

You could spend 100k for a box generating 5 random uncommon items and get 5 weapon upgrades for weapons you never use, higher level boxes don't automaticaly mean instant Quarian Engineer, Revenant HMG, X weapon upgrade or whatever you are looking for, you may still have to spend days and days buying super boxes to get X character/weapon and you may even get multiple duplicates for previously unlocked stuff (imagine trying to unlock the krogans and instead getting multiple turian soldiers or getting the Widow multiple times when trying to unlock the Revenant).
There needs to be some sort of overhaul because this isn't going to work in the long run. :[

Bioware CAN change it, but it would require some effort on their part.

The concept is fine. This form of unlocking gives the multiplayer the same kind of pleasure you'd get from playing slots. Which is also fine. These sort of unlock systems always prove to prolong the longevity of the game, see: TF2, many F2P shooters. The current implementation is just tedious though. The player should be allowed to work towards a particular goal, not just toss the dice and receive stuff that they may or may not need. If I decide to play infiltrator, tip the scales towards sniper unlocks and mods. Same for Soldier/Sentinel-Assault Rifle, Shotgun-Vanguard, SMGs-Engi, etc.

There should also be more choice of crates to choose from, but I'm guessing Bioware already has something like that in the final build. Like a resupply crate with only consumables like meds and rocket launchers that costs only 2000. Recruit crates could be retooled to make it so that it only gives 2-3 items, with consumables being seen as a bad luck drop. class-specific crates at 15000, so you effectively pay that much for one additional customization option on one class that you like. Mod/Weapon Crates can be at 10000 monays or something.

The rest of your post I generally agree with but this is a bad idea. The new flexible weapon loadouts mean that people can mix-and-match classes and weapons. Shotgun-Sentinels, Assault rifle-adepts and shotgun-infiltrators should not be punished for different playstyles.

I agree. What about a system similar to "weapon experience" then? Where the chances are favorably tilted toward the weapons you are carrying at the moment? This will satisfy players who want to upgrade their current guns and conversely encourage players to start fresh on a "new upgrade tree" of sorts when wanting to switch from, lets say, sniper rifles to shotguns. It won't outright eliminate the chances you will recieve an item you don't want, but changing the odds abit would be welcome.

Personally, I am actually cool with the weapons and gear unlocks, my main concern is the class unlocks, let say you are at a high level then only you are lucky enough to unlock a new class, you will be less motivated to play the new class from the start.

The classes/species, should be all unlocked from the beginning.

I like it the way it is, sure its frustrating to progress the way you want too, but it gives you a reason to keep playing, as opposed to unlocking everything than done.

Actually, Yes, they can. By adding the stuff you want directly into the store (instead of rolling for them). EVERY multiplayer experience should be skill based(!) not luck based.

BioWare made the same mistake with SWTOR when they decided Battlemaster and Champion gear should "drop" from a bag instead of getting a token from each bag. There they made PvP luck based instead of skill based.

BioWare seems to love this broken concept. Some people will play maybe a month and have everything unlocked, while others will play for a year and still only have half unlocked. That's not fair, we all work equally hard to get credits, but one person get's lucky and unlocks something the other one needs to work twice as hard for.

Lady luck doesn't smile on everyone, BioWare. Get that in your g*dd*mned head!

I will say they should be unloked when you help that race in the single player , a think like , ok , now krogans are your friends and join to de battle

I quite like the randomness of it. If I didn't get something that I wanted, it either encourages me to continue playing or it entices me in to trying the new items/mods I've acquired. For example, I wouldn't have attempted using an Infiltrator if I hadn't gained a number of Mantis upgrades.

I'd love if things were tied to your character. Particularly customization kits. I have full sets for my female vanguard... but I use a drell vanguard. I haven't gotten one kit for him.

I've also tried repeatedly to unlock an asari or salarian, but no go so far.

Since it's unlikely Bioware will scrap their current system, I think halving the price of the current packs would be a good way to deal with the randomness of the contents. That way, a veteran pack isn't as big a credit hit as it is now, making it easier for people to go for that instead of sticking to recruit packs. However, I do think that they should have the pack contents exclude classes you are playing as - I've gotten tons of human female infiltrator unlocks while playing one.

I just think all races and classes should be unlocked from the start. The kits should only contain weapon mods, supplies, and weapons.

Oh stop your whining Bravo. Play silver matches and you'll be able to purchase two veteran packs at the end. That's how I ended up with my Turian, asari, and Salarian, along with the mattock and phalanx. Now sure I've been playing since Monday, but I chose to spend time earning those credits which paid off in the end.

Nope. Since every class is already opened up and every member in each class share the same essential class skill, unlocking members in each class is actually a great idea. People need to learn patience. Getting to use new and cooler characters is a reward, not a right. Sheesh.

Oh yes please some trading system! i got a ton of smg upgrades i dont need (because i dont have a worthwhile smg) and i get anything but a phalanx or carnifex when it comes to pistols (finally got a second, now some more so it gets pasts the predator 6-.-)

Tho the moment i "might" like this system when, just as i had, 3 mattocks drop for me, finally its worthwhile again (love fast semiautos)
