I can't believe I am the only one who seem to have noticed this: rank 6 warp ammo give a scary +125% damage against lifted ennemy, that more than double your damage! and with the soldier passive that increase ammo damage by 40% it become a staggering 175% damage bonus PASSIVE!!!! Why the hell would anyone use an other ammo ever again?
I know what you guys are saying it's only against lifted ennemy but that's the thing : Liara can easily get a 2 sec cooldown on singularity!so you can spamm it as much as you want!
You see a grunt, you slap a singularity on his ass and you kill it in one shot with a single M99-Saber round, don't even need a headshot. you see an another grunt, rinse and repeat, easy as pie.
You just keep your adrenaline rush on reserver for banshee so you can one shot them too but with a Widow this time.
As soon as my soldier gets warp ammo and the M-99 saber it' easy mode insanity again.
Warp ammo looks insanly good for a soldier

Are you joking? because if you're talking about that lame chance for extra damage you have to be joking.
so on one hand we have some lame unknow chance of geting 140 extra damage with inferno VS an extra 600 point of damage for every single bullet out of your M-99 Saber
yeah, it's not even in the same league

Do factor in that saber has a low fire rate, infact sabers fire rate is on par with sniper rifles. Then if a enemy is lifted it means its on its health bar already and it doesnt take a lot to kill a enemy quickly when its on its health. Finally some guns proc ammo abilites more than other weapons. Mattock is one example, which in me2 procced ammo powers every shot.

Wrong, sniper rifle fire slowly because you have to reload after each shot, the Saber doesn't. there is no "health bar already" most enemy stays unprotected even on insanity so adept aren't useless, meaning they do have quite a bit of health.With inferno ammo a mattock and adrenaline rush unavailable you'll have to fire 10 shot to kill a single assault trooper.
As for protected ennemies they are better dealth with with a sniper shot to the head under Adrenaline rush, given the long cooldown you can't waste it on low grade ennemie.
It's a perfect mix, warp ammo combined with liara spamed singularity let you one show kill any un protected enemy you see in a split second while at the same time your widdow with adrenaline rush let you one shot kill protected enemie like phantom and centurion
the mattock was broken in ME2 it had the proc chance of sniper rifle because you only fire one bullet per mouse click but in reality you could fire it faster than an assault rifle, it's been fixed now.

well it will interesting nonetheless. I wonder do i take warp ammo as bonus power or go for carnage?
