 I have been playing the demo and havent seen anyone play as a Turian/Soldier, Krogan/Sentinel, Drell/Adept, Quaring/Infiltratior, Salarian/engineer, Asari/Vanguard, and any of the oppisite genders of human classes. Are they locked from the demo?

I think so. It's kind of a tease seeing them there but eh, I can wait till March 6th for that.

I unlocked the female infiltrator I believe...

the one race/class i wanted...and will play till im blue in the face...I GOT!!! i just wish the "store" was more hashed out than the random loot we get with the creds we gain.....ah well...im gonna be jamming mp like it was going out of style!

you start out with the option of making one character of any class (but specific species) combo and you get a free package that contains some starting stuff, as you play you earn credits with wich you can buy packs packs wich in turn contain random unlocks upgrades and single-use items as well as unlocks for new species/class combos.

They are either really, really rare or locked for the demo. I haven't seen anyone playing those race/class combinations.

So far I've unlocked Salarian Infiltrator, Quarian Engineer, Krogan Soldier, and Asari Adept.

My friend has a Turian sentinel and I saw a Turian soldier so those two are unlocked.

I am pretty sure you can be all of the characters. Just have to get lucky I guess. A bad system if you ask me, but I can deal with it.

I dunno. It seems to me that while none of the races are locked, some of the class combos are. For instance, I have never seen a quarian Infiltrator, krogan Sentinel, turian Soldier, asari Vanguard, drell Adept, or salarian Engineer. The same goes for the other human gender-class combos: I can't find a male Infiltrator, a female Engineer, a male Vanguard, a female Soldier, a male Sentinel, or a female Adept.

I've seen a Quarian infiltrator online as well as a male human vanguard.

Even though these random unlocks are annoying... I kind of like them. They really are like trading card packs. I just wish that they were maybe divided up more than Recruit or Veteran. Like one specifically for each class.

A Dev has said that the full game will have more than just the two packages.

I'm not sure, but it wouldn't be surprising if some of it is left out of the demo. Just another small taste of whats to come.
