I'd like the other classes to kill of the enemy in a more dispersed pattern, rather than leaving them alive in clumps, so I can use the assault troopers on the edge of the map to charge out of danger, but that's not going to happen either.clopin wrote...

Pull...:whistle:

Charge -> headshot -> dead
Not everyone is a frog
When there are 2 guardians next to eachother I imagine that doesn't go as smoothly as my froggy abilties.

Just use pull and the guardian loses his shield, then blow his face off with shotgun. Happy face.

Oh, I completely agree.Aedral wrote...
Well I can agree to having an active defense around the LZ but I am a firm believer that come 30-45 sec left on the clock, everyone should be in the LZ giving everything they got to the ever growing horde without leaving the nice blue bubble

But even I know not to charge on wave 11. I just crouch in cover like a **** and spray ineffectual shotgun rounds at enemies way too far away.

It's not bad. I've been playing a vanguard with just the Predator heavy pistol lately. Charge usually staggers the guardians and there's plenty of time to pop their heads off before they can bring the shields back in front.

Hiding behind cover. Ugh.
But if its for the team, I'll oblige. I bring a pistol anyways just in case.
I sure as hell don't want to lose out on the credit bonus.

Also anyone who defends idiot vanguards that get in over their head or chase the adrenaline at the expense of the objective is a jackass. You not an awesome vanguard just because you always charge into the thick and die. You're an awesome vanguard when you can charge non-stop and it actually helps your team win.

Though I've also had some really great Vanguards that pulled my ass out of the fire a few times - I guess it depends on the person.

I've played with a bunch of Vanguards, and most of them just didn't seem to understand that they were part of a team, they were darting around getting in everyone's way and one guy lost us the entire thing because he was focusing on killing enemies and not finishing the objective.

I dart all over the place too, but I'm drawing enemy fire away from my teammates, thinning enemy ranks, and clearing paths to the objective. When my non-vanguard teammates get themselves knocked out behing a wall of enemies (seriously, what the hell would any other class be doing there?!), my vanguard is the only one that get there to revive them in time.
Who are these other "vanguards" that are giving my class a bad name <_< I'll nova their asses.

Yes. Yes we are. I'm so proud!
Seriously, a Vanguard carring a shotgun and nothing else only dies when they can't find something to charge, or when something moves and they accidently charge a Fracking turrent.
