That's the formula for beating a Guardian head on... rather easily.

Or just use a scoped Carnifex and head-pop them through their shield.

They always run and when they start to die. I just run off and say "You're on your own pal" (Unless it's like 1-3 enemies left)

I think I was definitely guilty of this when I started off, ideally I like to charge round in a circle almost, picking off enemies in a ring, but sometimes you do accidentally mistarget and hit a turret or something.

When it come to the wave 11 things are a bit different, if there are a few enemies in the blue ring then I would happily charge out kill the guardian or centurion who is pinning us into cover, in the hopes that my clever teammates won't kill the enemies who are in the extraction zone so I can head back in easily but that doesn't always happen.

So while I agree that it can be very annoying to watch someone die miles away from the EZ, there might be things you can do that help them out too and help your team.

i have no problem charging ...and its like everyone expecting me to die :D ofcourse i don't... well usually. That's the thing with the vanguard .. you're charging to your death but if calculated correctly

Shockwave lets you shoot their entire head, and isn't reliant on luck to aquire. It's considerably easier on multiple levels.

My level 19 Vanguard dominated Gold (both maps) as part of a 3-man team (levels 17/18). Vanguards can destroy anything... and I charge whenever I want.

The real issue (regardless of class) is if you don't play as a team. That's the #1 killer of teams... lack of teamwork.

I dunno, I find shooting them through that slit with a scope to be incredibly easy. But then I'm on PC, so gogo precise aiming.

Vanguard is the easymode class for kids, so they won't listen.

Had a game with a Krogan soldier, Human vanguards, and an Infilitrator I think (hell I don't remember cause I was always in the thick of things). Finishes waves like crazy on silver. Very rarely do any of the three melees become incapacitated (mostly it was the other guy who got left behind and flanked by enemies). Krogan soldier vs atlas tanking the hell out of it? lol nova charge spree. Turrets do present an issue though. I never charged a full turret (very risky to do) but only armor left? **** please

Exactly same with me. I am a Vanguard, and once the time starts I run for the LZ and pick people off with pistols.

yeah, it's actually the only reason why I have a scoped Phalanx with me as vanguard

I had a Vanguard earlier who seemed convinced that multiplayer was the best time to be the big hero and let us get butchered as they zipped around the battlefield going after random mooks. DAMMIT, RANDOM MULTIPLAYER PEOPLE.

yep and some people don't realize that. I picked up on that early. even though I like to let my team mates take on guys from the front then i run in from behind and hit them all with a shock wave or singluarity.

Vanguards charge to boost their biotic barriers. It's a survival instinct. We don't zip around the map just to steal kills. Vanguards kill to live babe, oh yah!

I always time it so I'll have at least 10-15 seconds to hunker down at evac and normally stick around the area regardless. I've only died using this method a couple times and always close by, otherwise I'm ready to leave even after pinballing around.

I'm hearing a lot of whining about vanguards stealing kills and getting in sight lines. It's a team game guys, who gets the kill doesn't matter. Like any class, vanguards can be played well or poorly. It's just a lot more obvious when someone sucks as a vanguard then a sucky infiltrator. I maintain a well played vanguard is the most valuable asset a team can have just due to the sheer disruption they cause and aggro they grab. That frees the snipers, the adept and the sentinels to do what they do best with less pressure.

You want to be more helpful? Kill the engineers before they deploy turrets

seriously BSN needs to play with some actually good vanguards.
like only idiots charge across the map, solo, to a swarm of enemies, on wave 11, with 20seconds left on the clock.
