I have about 3 scimitar's myself, but I play as a vangaurd, so I don't mind. What I really want is a geth plasma shotgun.

I like using powers, so I don't. Correction: I have one, so it's not a want thing, but I like powers, so's I'm not using it.

Play a Krogan using the Katana. It's like a Jeep that's not standard, or a Colt 1911 that isn't a .45. It's just not right.

Personally I don't even like it. xD I swapped it out for the Tempest SMG with my Adept.

Really? Bummer. Right now I carry the Scimitar and no other weapons.  if I swapped to the Claymore, how much would it slow me down?

It exceeds the standard carry allowance by itself, so you're looking at something close to double, give or take a few percentage points based on your level of Mastery.

Yikes, I'll give it a try when I unlock it, but if you're right, I may just have to stick with the scimitar for now.

I bought 2 recruit packs in a row and I got human female vanguard in both of them which sucked seeing as how it was already lvl 18. I just want me a krogan, after countless veteran packs I've only managed to unlock a turian which was cool since I don't have to play a human for a while

I've been trying to get the Mattock all weekend, but I've had no luck. I managed to unlock all the DLC characters, and fortunately, I got the Carnifex which I wanted as well but no Mattock. Obtaining the Mattock and the Salarian Infiltrated are my goals right now.

It's easily the best assault rifle (apart from the special grenade launchers which have their uses). You're missing out!

But you can't effectively kill the crap that gets close to you with it.

You can very effectively kill almost any crap that gets close. Especially on an engineer that can one-shot the shields. Max rate of fire + accurate headshots = insane DPS. At point blank, you can just spam body shots from the hip and the target will still go down fast.

I have it at level V. It's too heavy for me to ever use. If my cooldowns drop below +150% then I won't use that weapon.

Eh, weight depends on the class for me. Some I won't go below +100%, my Asari all stay above +150%, and my melee Krogan Sentinel is at a consistent -200%.

Because I really highly doubt that this is a spam topic like the "I didn't get my Commendation Pack" threads so no one is going to care about "duplicates". Especially considering that this thread has been dead for a whole month.

You get silver card guns in veteran packs. I maxed out all my silver guns in a few days with only veteran packs.
