I've been trying to get the Mattock all weekend, but I've had no luck. I managed to unlock all the DLC characters, and fortunately, I got the Carnifex which I wanted as well but no Mattock. Obtaining the Mattock and the Salarian Infiltrated are my goals right now.

Are you buying Veteran packs?

I was buying nothing but Premium packs all weekend.

You get silver card guns in veteran packs. I maxed out all my silver guns in a few days with only veteran packs.

Damn, I thought it was rated gold this whole time since it's so beasty, to me anyway. Thanks man. I'll focus on those veterans packs from now on till I get it.

I have a Mattock at level 10 and it out specs the Raptor at the same level. Most of the other assault rifles have too many problems, do too little damage, or can't hit the broad side of a barn.

It's not all that hot - I'm using a X10 Mattock on my Justicar right now w/ Scope & armor piercing. It does well w/ mods (armor piercing ammo or Cryo Ammo & a Rail Amp - but you can't sustain that.)

I actually have all the assault rifles that are not N7 Rarity at Lvl 10 - and only one of them do I love - The Striker. but she's heavy.

least favorite thing about the Mattock is having to finger spam the mouse to rapid fire. I'm 36 and thanks to mom's fantastic DNA already have arthritis.

Speaking of which I got this as well. Those Premium pack do wonders but they're too expensive. I did a lot of gold grinding on Firebase White. Focus on those packs when they're available.
