Just out of curiosity, but are those not signed by the artist? I see the handwritten numbering, but any actual signature?

No.

The black-bordered lithos have a foil N7 as proof of their authenticity, instead of a signature. Right?

Basically. I hope that the inevitable new lithos that come out will have signatures back. I understand the release of these new ones came at a trialing time for the company and all of that.

Out of curiosity, how are the prints actually getting scratched like that?? Makes you wonder...

Not sure what's worse, that or the fact that someone actually looked at it and decided it was okay to send.

I've just got my replacement shipped out.

What's weird is that only Reaper Attack is scratched not Aria. They were packaged the same way with thin paper seperating them. Support believed the paper might have scratched them. Strangely they were not in plastic bags as they usually are.

On the bright side customer service is helpful.

The black borders also seem more fragile than the white borders. It appers the "black print" isn't perfect as seen here:

New lithos have been previewed on Treehouse. Looks like black borders and NO signatures AGAIN! Getting a little frustrated. They are Anderson and Prothean.

So, I have received my lithos (it's cool living in a ****hole called Russia that also has ****ty customs), and I found this:

Aria is damaged as badly, I'm just too lazy to upload it. Needless to say, I'm pissed off. What's worse, Reaper attack had been 24/500.

On the bright side you won't be able to see the scratches (if there are any) :)

In Denmark the tube passes straight past customs when shipped using XPO. In the case of USPS they grab it every time.

Treehouse should consider dualtubing but it's probably not worth it considering the damaged/not damaged ratio.

Wow! It takes skills to damage the tube like that...
Every litho I have received has been in good condition, I doesn't really like the tube, the oversized flat packing has been the best but there are pos and cons with both.

Yea that level of damage is crazy.  Breaking down a tube like that is tough, looks like they ran it over with a truck or something.

I ordered a couple of Dead Space lithos as well as the recent ME3 ones
as they looked interesting but unfortunately this is what arrived.  Nice regular folds all the way along, seasoned with some additional damage to the print substrate.

They don't quite "compete" with what the Russian guys can do to them, though the tubes they use aren't all that tough: mine was squashed flat courtesy of the boot print on it, and tossing four of them in the recycling today, it wasn't exactly all that much effort to flatten them.  The tubes used by the Valve store are a lot more sturdy and take a concerted effort to damage, whereas these just need an average amount of carelessness or fairly trivial malice to destroy.

Yeah, but it's easy to reproduce the foil if you know the right people. (Mom has a good friend in the stationery business and does foil stamps for things all the time.) I'd much prefer if they can't get them signed, they provide some kind of certificate of authenticity.

@Russian packaging - WOW. Just...wow. Looks like there might be water damage on that bad boy, too...or maybe I'm just seeing things. Sure beats the time when they sent me three mini lithos and they all ended up crammed in my mailbox. The post lady got an earful from me after the third one..."DO NOT BEND. It says DO NOT BEND. WHY are you BENDING them???" Lol.

This seems to be a running joke with some postmen.  "Photos do not bend?  Yes they do!  Hurrr!" <_<
