[Volus Warlord]

 It's tight. The fire is going back and forth. You're cornered.. by an Atlas. You get its shields down. You start trying to cut through its armor and BAM! It drops you. However. you are not dead. You are lying in the dirt incapacitated. You hope one of your teammates will pick you up again. But it doesn't happen. The area is overrun. You then wait for some stupid trooper to kick you in the head. But that doesn't happen. The Atlas approaches your incapaciated body... and stomps your head into the dirt!

This morning I Biotic Charged an Atlas when it got me cornered in a building, and I managed to glitch him OUT of the building, good times

No, but I'm glad I'm not the only crazy arround that killed an Atlas using meelee

with the drell vanguard...i have charged 3 to death!! warp, shoot, charge, shoot while backing up, charge when barrier gets low, warp, shoot, charge! KABOOM!

but i have seen a few engineers just MURDER the atlas in a matter of seconds!

Never got killed by one of those before, I'm usually at long range spamming Warp once it's shields are down. I do occasionally get clipped by one of it's missiles though.

Atlas got nothing on me! Hate the ninja-chicks however... only killed 2 of those so far.

that atlas is a pain in the ass. i tried to save one of my teammates behind atlas and what does it do? It farts on my face during my medical procedure and I end up on the ground with my teammate, just staring at Atlas's butt

what's really fun is joining a friends game in progress and spawning into a phantoms blade.

I was just playing with Cheez earlier this evening when this happened. She Charged an Atlas, but it incapped her in a corner. I made the (poorly thought out) command decision to rez her after several seconds of fruitless shooting at the Atlas. Somehow I got into the corner and got her up, but then the damn thing incapped both of us and executed us a few seconds later.

If it hadn't been for FeralEwok, we probably would've been done right there. >.<

what screws most games up is when multiple atlas appears Plus the ninja chicks. Those white ninja chicks can tank a lot more than those shield soldiers O.o its weird and crazy. I dont get how their armor works =S

The're using their biotics to protect themselves.

It's not so difficult if you are Sentinel:
Overload + Heavy Meelee = Flawless Victory.
That's how my Turian kicks their quad-less body

I got stomped by an Atlas once, but it felt right, since I was playing as a Krogan and I don't feel that any of the other troops could just stomp on a Krogan and kill him.

Atlas is slow and stupid, should really concentrate on the smaller guys

and guys - when in tight situation and cornered, don't be afraid to use your special weapon that slices atlas down in one shot. u get plent of supllies in packs.

Yeah. Happened to me a couple of times. 

As for the Atlas. I killed one with my claymore. Does that count?

atlas are easy. my most hated enemies are the phantoms

first 6 seconds is me and probably everyone on the team when they see a phantom

I got my head popped like a zit by an atlas not once, but at least 3 times last night. Lesson learned:

Don't stay within an atlas' arm's reach after you nova.

What sucks worse is when you yank out the cobra to deal with the atlas during extraction, and suddenly there appears in front of the atlas a guardian who was coming out of cover right as you pull the trigger, and autotarget carrets him instead. BAM, missile wasted on a stupid squishy.
