Lol Vanguard in Multiplayer

 So Im playing a vanguard and now that im level 11 im an unstoppable beast that pretty much cant be hurt. Ive equipped a pistol only and leveled only nova and charge and i pretty much have instant cooldowns. I barely have to fire my pistol charge nova kills most and those that cant you just falcon punch. This is for silver level rating. Gold i imagine is a little harder

Some people say the Vanguard is overpowered... others say the Vanguard gets teams killed... I say they're BEAST and you can be good if you are good...

Watch out for turrets^^

I just started playing MP, for the first time.. (demo failed like.. 10000 times. trololol)
And Its pretty good so far, even when you do start off at level 1. c:

Every single class/race is OP when used right.
An infiltrator will cap mission objectives without being detected very quickly which means more extra cash.
While a krogan soldier is headbutting his way even in gold.
İf you have high level incinrate or push you dont even need a pistol... Just spam powers.

And please try charging and novaing a turret or an Atlas.

I just tried a Drell Vanguard, I thought it was hard as hell. Getting the Charge lined up then to get the damn thing to actually fire off was seriously a chore. Not that I didn't keep trying and lol'n at my epic fails and saying sorry to my team in coms though, hahaha.

Hey guys! Watch this! ..... Opps. Little help here! :P

I did really like pulling the sheilds out of the enemy's that carry them though since the drell has pull.

Charging a turret is pretty doable (not sure about gold) as for the atlas with just a pistol equipped and charge nova maxed for lowest possible cds just charge nova roll around rince and repeat its boring but works

You can charge an atlas safely, just make sure there's cover and room to roll... and you may want to do it AFTER he fires with his right arm...

I  find the Infiltrator is also very powerful. I have almost instant cooldown (and it lasts like 13 second's)  on my cloaking. I can just dance around the battlefield and flank enemy's like its no ones business.

And the Infiltrator is good for helping the team to. I can run more than half way across the map bypassing enemy's to make it to a downed team member or objective.

They're very well balanced, as they must be played smartly around turrets, guardians, and atlases.

But yeah, I was having a blast yesterday wreaking havoc with charge and nova with just a shuriken subbie.

I just dominated Gold (both levels) as a lvl 19 Vanguard as part of a 3-man team (all of whom were below lvl 20). Vanguards rock... nuff said.

What exactly is a force bonus? I see that in the levels.

Its the amount of push back i think so nova blasts people back further. I think if they hit objects the damage they take is related to the force too but dont quote me on that

Yup I dont even use bullets these days with my vanguard, just charge + nova and I can just about take on anything with a high chance of success. The only exception really being the atlas, need to use bullets at least initially on that.

Vanguards are nuts and Humans have it good. Asari are pretty good as well since they have their own build in Nova as a melee and come with Stasis for lulz against Phantoms.

Havent played with them either, but just seeing the loadout and knowing what the Asari can do with its racial abilities give a good idea of why they dont have Nova.

Drell just looks terrible at first blush and no experience with the class doesnt give me anything else to figure out if they are better.

As a level 17 Vanguard I would take out turrets and Atlases without a problem, and I thought Christmas had come early when I saw four Phantoms drop in front of me at one time. Once leveled, Nova destroys shields and armor. See a turret; charge, nova, charge again, nova, and it's gone. Same tactic for the Atlas. I don't even need to use my shotgun. Long story short, Vanguards are a bit OP, but they are a blast to play (every pun intended).

I found out that you can have invincibility on your rolls as a vanguard by canceling nova. You seriously can roll cancel toward a turret now. I'm gonna post a vid on it, but its hilarious because I can get shot at or smacked and it doesn't even phase my vanguard. I'm no master at it, so I screw it up sometimes, but I managed to dodge a grenade explosion with the technique.

Try Drellguard. Human Vanguard may sometimes seem overpowered (especially on Bronze), but on the other hand, Drellguard may literally be the hardest race-class to play ATM.

It's really useful if you want to knock people on ther asses and get those guardians bash their shields to the side.

Have you tried relying more on your pull power and
grenades? Pull is one of the best abilities in the game, I was pretty
sad that human Vanguard can't have it.

Myself I'm relying heavily on Pull+Charge biotic explosions ability.

Quick tip: If you're playing on the 360 make sure you adjust your controller sensitivity to high. It makes finding your next charge target a lot easier which is the main skill needed to play the class well.

I keep making Vanguards yell at me over the mic because Overload keeps causing them to not get their charge targets *whistles*
