OMG Drellguards are beastmode! Seriously, when you pull someone, you can still charge them when they are in the air. You literally fly in the air and own them! And if you only equip a pistol, it literally takes 1 second for pull to recharge, so you can pull two or three people and go to town. If your pull is upgraded, you can have any damage done to them be even worse; so pull + charge = insta-death to anything without shield/armor.

asari adept is more OP than vanguard with stasis bubble and pistol only. I can kill 3 phantoms that appears in front of me at the same time without being afraid of getting stabbed at.

They're very well balanced, as they must be played smartly around turrets, guardians, and atlases.
Neah, guardians should be charged head on at all times. Just charge and headshot with your pistol.

I always thought that the Vanguard's best way to take down a Guardian was to use Shockwave.Aulis Vaara wrote...

Never even spent a point in Shockwave since you can kill everyone only with the use of Charge and Nova, including Turrets, Phantoms and the Atlas mechs. The exception are Guardians, but after a Charge or Nova attack you just shoot them into the face with whatever weapon you have (SMG is best, since you don't have long cooldowns for biotics then) and they're dead.

It's a shame about shockwave. It's actually a lot better than the me2 variation but not at all needed for the vanguard. It looks destined to be the power that never gets used again. It's quite good on the human adept though.(still waiting for my beautiful asari

Vanguard makes the game a lot worse for the players if
1. You just spam charge and nova
2. You keep dyeing
3.there's more than one vanguard on the team

Vanguards are great if you don't have to keep babysitting them.

They are quite difficult to play in gold.

From my experience they either suck or own. In most cases they own but only when they stay in sight of the team. The idiots that keep going solo everywhere end up costing us. The ones that do stay in range though get a ton of points, protect the rest of us while we grind down opponents and in general are an asset to the team.
Every class has a role to play really. It's all about the player.

So Im playing a vanguard and now that im level 11 im an unstoppable beast that pretty much cant be hurt. Ive equipped a pistol only and leveled only nova and charge and i pretty much have instant cooldowns. I barely have to fire my pistol charge nova kills most and those that cant you just falcon punch. This is for silver level rating. Gold i imagine is a little harder
No. That's a Novaguard you're describing.
A lol guard is a concept that never made it into Mass Effect 3's multiplayer.
The description below is a Lolguard.
Lolguard:
Race: Troll
Gender: Hard to tell
Laughing Out Loud: For some reason, the Lolguard keeps laughing. This tactic distracts the enemies so much that they end up shooting each other.
False Bigotry Mode: Be it sexism, racism, homophobia or poking fun at other people's religious beliefs there is no cow too sacred for this lolguard. Constantly offending everyone, including the enemies.
Griefing Mode: Capable of team killing and blocking other players. Griefing mode allows the lolguard to get extremely angry reactions from other players. The lolguard will also blame other players for the lolguard's friendly fire, and will often accompany this behaviour with a fake accent or made up character.
Fitness Passive: Evil Elmo: Heavy melee is repeatedly punching the enemy whilst pretending to be Evil Elmo.
class Passive: Youtube celebrity: Your annoying exploits are posted on youtube, granting you additional trolling power on the battlefield. Putting additional ranks into this passive can either boost your griefing power, or improve your already annoying laughter to lethal levels.
