While this is not my personal opinion(although I will recognize that Krogans are a one man army in MP), I was playing a game of MP with a few people as a Krogan Soldier, running around meleeing everything, somebody asked "Don't you think the Krogan are a little overpowered?". And I was just wondering, what do you guys think, are the Krogan OP in MP?
For referece, a list of things I can 1 hit kill in MP as my Krogan just using my melee attacks on Bronze difficulty:
Assault Troops
Centurians
Phantoms
Combat Engineers
Turrets
Guardians(very rare, I have to catch them off guard)

I don't believe they are overpowered, maybe in bronze, but past that not at all. Anyone who charges in on silver / gold is going to get quite a rude awakening as to how much damage their krogan can actually take!

Considering that you get shot while taking cover as a Krogan and need to stay mobile, no I don't think they are. Just like Turians need to fight at a distance in order to be effective and humans need to roll around.

Once you get the hang of any class/race combo, it looks overpowered on Bronze. These folks should step up the difficulty level of their game. When the enemies do more damage and are more numerous, charging straight into them isn't really advisable, especially since the ratio of specialist troops vs mook troopers goes up.

... it's a friggin Krogan^^

Plus they're not as agile as the other classes (making them more vulnerable)

They can't roll. So they aren't overpowered. And what does it matter if someone is playing well? That just means you are going to get the money. It doesn't matter one bit in team-based game like this.

Yeah, ME3's the only MP game where I really don't care if a kill gets stolen, etc. It really is about surviving... and dominating.

Compared to spamatron 5000 instakill vanguards and take-your time headshot asari, and humangineers with rocket drones and incinerate; no, they are not overpowered. Quite the opposite.

Krogans should be powerful.

And they should regenerate heath. This could be "balanced" by lower shields and an balancing them against the environment. How? Well, when in open terrain, they can for example randomly take sniper fire, from after contact with another wave is made, to when there are only 3 enemies left.

And Turians should of course be able to roll. But they can of course still be slower in movement then humans.

Krogans are balanced by the fact that they are slow as hell and cant roll. thats the trade off. Yes, you have godly amounts of shields and health, and the best melee ever, but if you get swarmed, or need to evade a grenade or turret, you better hope you can run fast enough.

Would be fun if you jumped from ledges and did a Krogan "air drop" like Wrex. :P

Sure they can get easy kills when facing weak enemies but as soon as it gets difficult the Krogans are the first ones to go down. They are too dependent on rushing forward. I suppose you could let the enemies close in on you and try to take them on but it would be very easy to get overwhelmed. They're the worst teammates to have other than Vanguards. Every time I play with a Krogan or a Vanguard as soon as things get difficult, they get downed on the other side on the map and I just have to leave them.

I play Vanguard a lot, and the only time I get down is if a accidently charge a turret or Atlas.

That notion of balancing screams of amateurishness. There is no need to gimp anyone or anything, you just need the envirment to respond logically to the level of threat it represents. In that way, every player needs to stay alert and focused to survive the intensity of battle.

Incinerate's not the humangineer's best power. Overload is.

I don't think so, what they make up in health and shields they lack in speed.. Also they take up a good amount of your screen.
