Im posting this because many think they need to post threads about the level being too low and if they make enough that they will increase the levels to something rediculous because they think its necessary but the game is more for the storyline and if they make the co-op more important then less people will replay the story which the last 2 games and this one are supoose to be about. replaying the story and gettign bonuses for it but some of the peopel think the coop is everything for mass effect.

Besides the 8+ hours of gameplay we are going to get if we factor in the numbers people are saying even in a group together it takes you 6 hours to achieve 20 levels for one character. we have 6 characters. lets up the math together. 6 characters x 6 hours for each character = 36 hours / 24 hours in a day = 1 1/2 days of gameplay. for me thats a lot and the game is more about the storyline and the single player. and also i want to play the game with all levels maxed so i can enjoy the game more rather then focusing on getting enough power ups. also you have to get all the weapons and attachments and you are never really finished when you need to get more medi gels and etc so i think what they have now is enough for levels since you have to play "mystery box" with the packages to get anything good which will keep you playing for longer too just to get better weapons and mods to guns and so forth. with the need to always replenish more medi gels and other items that means you are never 100% complete you will be playing for quiet some time.

I'd rather see the classes be separated, so if i level the female sentinel, the drell wont get level aswell, that would expand the multiplayer and keep you rethinking builds and tactics all the time

If i had a say id wish for a prestige mode, something like a class is fully leveled you can choose to remove all its xp, and gain maybe a little star somewhere

I know once this game is out, i will play both way more then i should, as this multiplayer far exceeds what i expected it to be and the gameplay i saw from the sp seems nice to keep me 2-3 runs. Unfortunately it seems like another corridorshooter sp

thats would be a problem. since there are 4 characters so far in each class but will be more i bet like 6 to 8 you are talking about 216 hours (6 hours to max rank for 6 characters for 6 classes) thats 9 days of playtime and you still would be finished even if you get max rank for all as i said you still would need the better guns and mods.

long as it doesnt give your character a bonus on ingame play i wouldn't care if it makes it happier for those that enjoy rankign up again without forcing others.

mass effect shouldnt be a shooter its suppose to make you feel like an rpg but sicne you got a gun i guess you can assume that. once you get control of the actual game with missions you will see me3 is just like 1 and 2

I want to be able to reset my character, even if I have to lvl him back up to 20.

the reason people want a higher lvl cap is because some people don't want to play all the classes, they have a few they like (quarian engi lvl 20) and at some point all you can do with those is trying to grind boxes for further apearance upgrades wich you never get

I'm actually fine with this level system.

Plus, I can roll with difference character and same class without going to Bronze again.
Getting tired of that difficulty, I want more of Silver and to beat Gold before 5th March.

the fact people can already reach max level in 2 days of the demo says to me the cap should be higher... Though, the requirement for helping the story should stay the same. Basically- more gameplay for those who like MP, but less stress on SP players- (if the requirement was the same, but the level cap was higher, then we couldget more readyness by leveling 1 char, instead of all 4.)

A "prestige" mode wouldnt give you a bonus, usually it takes all your stuff and you can gind again. In dow2 last stand as example it is called elite, gives you all thre times a item that increases your and your teams scores, for the simple price you have to let other stuff unequipped and shows a star below your level for each elite.

And the only bonus youd get the way i suggested it (each character individual leveling and individual prestige) would be your unlocks from the packages, You wouldnt be vastly superior to everyone, only in skill, not build. (which i already am to most)

Also Mass Effect is a corridor shooter, with some rpg aspects, thats the reason i like this game. Tho i still am bugged at the dumbing down of the development tree.

i wouldnt mind resetting my characters powers if thats what you mean so if you had to buy a power out of the 2 and you didnt like it you can undo it so you can start it over so you can choose the other one of the 2 or 3 characters.

i agree i hate playing on the lowest level and having to start over when i finally can play against gold difficulty and find out i have to take 2 days to be able to have a chance because others want maxed levels to take forever for all characters.

do you mean like:

Demo level 20 1500 xp each rank

Retail level 50 500 xp each rank

like that? because i can understand that kinda example if thats what you mean. because 2 days of gameplay is alot. that means you played 48hrs with no sleep and to me for 1 class thats alot.

well i never played dow2 but it sounds like you thinking about cod style like gow and cod both did. i think its okay if you get some silly little title that makes you feel good but others wont need to play better. long as the dont get better items and such on ingame play like new camo or weapons or bonuses etc then i dont care long as it doesnt enter the match.

Well if its would be done on a per "class" basis, then youd keep only the weapons and items you got with all classes, but you wouldnt get anything that makes you better (except maybe a ****ton training?)

that sounds fare enough just to start over with no additions added just keep your weapons and items because you choose to do it all over again sounds fine with me. i dont know what someone would want to start all over but if they want to just because they like ranking up then that fine with me. Dont know what your last part meant though.
