. : . Top 5 . : .

Mordin Solus
-I can't speak for anyone else, but Mordin's exacting rendition of 'Scientist Salarian' to the tune of Gilbert & Sullivan was one of the best moments of gaming in my opinion. Right up there with good ol' classics like 'all your base are belong to us'

Liara T'Soni
-Liara was an awesome example of a likable character in the first of a franchise turning into a straight bad****. Her ascent from innocent maiden archaeologist to having seen the horrors she faces with Shep and his/her death, finally clawing out and working her way to take down the Shadow Broker? How do you beat that? Liara clearly is one of the most awesome characters in the ME series.

Joker
-I know I speak for more than myself when I say that Joker is clearly the best comic relief in ME and probably in gaming history. His conversations with the Commander and EDI are priceless. I don't think I've ever laughed harder playing a game than when he imitates Legion.

Urdnot Wrex
-The pure, awesome, unstoppable machine of carnage and destruction that is Wrex is not only a sight to behold as far as combat goes [he straight destroys stuff in my playthroughs, for sure], but his unique perspective in contrast to Krogan norms makes him one of my personal favorites. Wrex Wrox.

Tali'Zorah nar'Rayya vas Normandy
-Tali is, in my opinion, the best developed character in the series aside from Shepard and, arguably, Liara. The personality she brings to the Mass Effect world brings a literal smile to my face countless times as I play. One of the things I found most fun in the subsequent playthroughs I did was watching Tali more closely. Because she doesn't have facial expressions, they do an awesome job of making her have some of the best body language. Not to mention Liz Sroka's voice acting is doubtlessly incredible. Her work is inspiring. Proudly, I am a Talimancer. I can't wait to see her face! If it's not in ME3, I am definitely going to be among the less than satisfied.
