Are you people forgetting about Arrival?
There is no scifi video game or film character I can think of that has even close to this amount (except the Reapers) of confirmed kills or that high of a body count.
To those of you who say Master Chief has more, you are deluded and brainwashed.

Major T. J. "King" Kong from the movie Dr. Strangelove. This man drops and rides a atomic bomb that will come to set off a Russian Doomsday device effectively ending the world. So thats roughly about 3,276,491,201 people give or take couple hundred thousand given Dr. Strangelove's efforts.

The vogan captain from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, (blows up the earth to make way for a hyperspace bypass). Moff Tarkin from Starwars, blows up Alderan, supposedly a fairly heavily populated planet. Darth Malik from KOTOR, Revan from Kotor, probably the Jedi Exile with the Mass Shadow Generator. That's just off the top of my head. If I choose to use Sci Fi literature, Shep is a duffer when it comes to body count.

I'd love to hear how or when Master Chief racked up more than three hundred and four thousand something or other kills. Although, the other references provided by The Grey Ranger really do put Shepard to shame!

The Chief and his team rack up quite a bit in the First Strike novel. They destroyed over 500 Covenant ships and a massive command station at the center of it all.
In any case, considering that the majority of Shepard's 300+k kills comes from his actions from The Arrival it isn't much to brag about considering those on the colony (aside from those within the prison complex) were minding their own business.
