 Do you think BioWare will eventually ditch the class locked races and just let people be whoever they want? Cause honestly I was heart broken when I saw I couldn't be a Quarian Vanguard (even though I'm pretty sure they don't exist). I know the vast majority of people were looking for Krogan Vanguards, Turian Infiltrators, and Drell Infiltrators.

But yea I really do hope they get rid of the whole class locked system post-release sometime.

I think there are...but very, and I mean veeeeeeeeery rare

hence why they can only be engies or infiltrators

class locked races are there for lore reasons, quarians are just not biotics, tough a quarian soldier would have been nice

Quarians are not that weak and their suits are not that fragile. Grunt once said Quarians are tougher then most species from a physical hardness. Besides the barriers from the biotics protect humans in a biotic charge.
Humans are one of the most fragile species in the game.

Year old thread lol. I agree tho. If you brought this thread up to start pushing the topic again (something i myself wish for) it wpuld make sense, but you responded to a 10 month old comment

If Quarians broke their suits every time they charged. Humans, even Krogan would break their necks.

I really wanted a Salarian biotic (sentinel) and more turian biotics (I'm hoping for Nyreen/Omega inspired turian female cabals with flare and biotic protector to fill the missing Vanguard and Sentinel spots). Biotic protector would be a beast to implement, though.
