Wait, so do you want people who still like the game and are going to paly it anyway to say something different? Or is the ultimate goal to convince them that you are right and the game is garbage?

At least, I can't find some other logical reason for it?
I'm ok with people who type reasonable complaints.
Yes, the mouth animation is weird, the running animation is bad, etc.
No, I don't like it, but unfortunately, experience has showed that few companies will go and fix things like that when they're under EA. I enjoy the game and will get it though.
If people don't like it, they shouldn't buy it, vote with their money, but when you see the same thing x1000 times or calling others "Biodrones" for the smallest "I like it", it's getting tiresome.

I've been a fan of ME since the very beginning of this series, and I loved the demo. There could've been more dialogue, but everything else was fantastic. The sound in particular is amazing.
But apparently having an opinion is too much for some people here.

As entertaining as this thread is, I don't quite understand how people can condemn a game they've only seen a tiny portion of. There are things about the demo that I was disappointed with but it did its job - it left me wanting more. If you're so upset about the demo, just don't pre-order the game and wait for some real feedback on the final product. I'll never understand why some people will demand their opinion be accepted by others. And the behaviour by some people in this thread is unbelievable. You think you just can't be surprised any more...
It's quite simple really.
The Internet and Forums in particular have given people the ability to freely voice what they are thinking, without having to adhere to society's norms and regulations. Thus, 90% of people on the internet actually act the way they really want to act. Which means, 90% of the Earth is inhabited by people who'd rather punch you in the face and insult your dead mother than be polite. But in the "real" world, they HAVE to be.
So here, they can be ****s all they want.
The second reason, obviously, is because of the human belief that whatever we like is superior in every conceivable way and anyone who prefers something different just has extremely bad taste. Therefor, all these other people must be converted, for their own sake and for the sake of making the industry (in this case games) make more things that cater to that person's wishes.
Easy right?

I'm just happy to be a part of the 10% then. The complete lack of regard for other people that posters here exhibit, as a whole, is one of the reasons I'm not as active here any more. One can only hope the trend will change and people will be a little more respectful... but I shan't hold my breath.

People did this before ME1, and they did it before ME2. Every new game by Bioware (or indeed every videogame company) is hated by a handful of very vocal people, and then when the next game comes around the previously hated game becomes a shining beacon of nostalgic perfection. People hated that Bioware was making a shooter when ME1 was announced, but look at how people view that now. It all goes in cycles.centauri2002 wrote...

There are some perfectly valid complaints, but there are also an awful lot of people seemingly hating just for the sake of it.

Sorry.
But yeah, please don't hold your breath for that. As long as people are not accountable for their words or actions, they will continue to do exactly what is happening here. It's a bit sad, but nothing more than one can expect to be honest.
On Topic, I found the demo to be too short, but I honestly only played it to see if my little laptop could run it. Now that I know it can, I'll be happily waiting to play the finished game. I'm happy for those who will enjoy it with me and I hope those who won't will find something that suits their tastes better to enjoy.

Oh I completely agree, the animations are a bit riduclous but that is not something I pay attention to, I would be more concerned about animations in fighting games where you will be seeing them all the time and so if they are fluid then great, but if they are stiff and frozen then it would make the game very unejoyable. But at least the demo gave them that insight, they leave their feedback in the appopriate thread, and if those issues bother them much not to buy the game then they can just cancel their pre-order and move on.
But if they decide not to do that then their motive is very clear.

After watching all the arguments about ME 2 and now ME 3, I am slowly begining to wonder if it's not so much about "this is wrong", and "I don't like this" as it's about "It's not like ME 1 anymore, and ME 2 'ruined' the series".
ME 1 was good.....but it had many flaws. ME 2 was a step in the right direction in almost every way (this is not the thread to discuss this, and since we're 17 days from the release of ME 3 at the time of this post, I'm going to move on).
From what I saw from the Demo, ME 3 is not bad; there are some minor issues, but what people need to remember is this - it's only a demo. It's not meant to be perfect; I demoed Darksiders and thought it was awful. I then borrowed it from a friend of mine and found that the demo was bad and the game was really good. You can't ever base how a game is from a demo. Given the success BioWare had with ME 2, I'm willing to believe that we're in good shape with ME 3.
So...the demo was good; but I'm now waiting for the real deal....bring on ME 3.
