That would be awesome. Not sure how it would tie in in terms of storyline? Maybe a DLC later released. Helping the Geth do a mission unlocks a Geth trooper to help you in MP? That would be awesome.

In a Legion speech "Geth do not intentionally infiltrate" D:
But i agree, Geth character would be prizeless, most epic character in MP of all times

I assume they probably will be one of the enemy groups and thats why we dont see em as playable characters.
That's my worry. I can totally see them as an enemy group, in fact I think there's footage showing them as such...but I still think they can do it. They just need to ensure the MP character is easily distinguishable. After all, the cereberus troops are (mostly) human, and no one get s confused and shoots at their human opponents. I think its feasible.

I think the reason we don't have Geth classes is because we're Alliance SF/Mercs, Geth do not freelance, and they're not part of the Alliance, and I'm pretty sure most humans in the galaxy would get scared ****less if they saw a geth regardless of if it was friendly

well, the Geth could be an awesome Engineer with bonus accuracy/sniping skills. That and hack maybe?

I think its the special forces trailer that shows them as enimies. I'm pretty sure that a salarian infiltrator is stabbing one in the chest.
I think there would be a way to make them playable, considering the different types of geth in ME2 ( legions loyality mission and something about hertics).

Only if you didn't help Legion. It wouldn't make sense for them to be an enemy group if you helped Legion in ME2, as the orthodox Geth resist the "old machines", and would probably ally with Shepard against them.

They're one of the enemy factions, so no.
By this logic... Humans shouldn't be playable since Cerbereus is one of the enemy factions.
The Geth are a divided race, just like us Humans.
They are also just like us, in the fact that the majority are against the Old Machines.

In ME2 it is made very clear the geth are divided in 2 groups, one that supports Reapers and doesnt fight quarians and one that doesnt support reapers and fights quarians, legion belongs to the second group so there is plenty of reason for them to join the fight.
Not in ME3. Like I said to the last person, you're ignoring story spoilers. There's a legitimate reason they aren't playable.
