I suspect a lot of friendly fire since you can't tell them apart.Shadow of Terror wrote...
Enemies can be the Heretics. Playable characters can be geth.

Can you tell apart your human soldier allies from your human enemies?

I think we'll be seeing some DLC. Geth? Maybe, maybe not... but it'd be cool.

I assume they probably will be one of the enemy groups and thats why we dont see em as playable characters.
Problem with that is that we've already fought race on race on ME2. For BioWare to say " players will be confused about enemies and friends" is actually been proven wrong already. Legion fought geth in 2 and I never got them confused, and Grunt fought krogan on Tuchanka and I never got them confused. Saying heretics obviate playable geth is a complete and total lazy ass cop-out, and BW's own precedent proves otherwise, especially if you didn't do the side missions until after the suicide mission. Plenty of race on race action then and no one became fatally confused and died.
Additionally the female human infiltrator looks an assload like the nemesis and I don't see people going "omg I killded mah buddeh."
Friendly fire doesn't work anyway.
Playable geth, vorcha and batarians should happen to keep MP going and fresh after a set amount of time.
There's no reason not to, and many fans have asked for it.

So they all wear N7 armor? I already get confused when player characters wear white outfits. Sadly so.

*** However, if our team is fighting against the Heretic Geth my team mate had better have a distinctly different colour scheme from the enemy ! ***
Geth 0010110011: " Excuse me...I'm on your side ! Please stop filling my platform full of holes.... Dumb**** !!! "
Soldier Bob: "Whups - hey sorry there partner.... no offense...but you folks all look alike y'know..."
Geth 0010110011: "I'm wearing HOT PINK...... Dumb**** !!!"

In ME2 it is made very clear the geth are divided in 2 groups, one that supports Reapers and doesnt fight quarians and one that doesnt support reapers and fights quarians, legion belongs to the second group so there is plenty of reason for them to join the fight.
Not in ME3. Like I said to the last person, you're ignoring story spoilers. There's a legitimate reason they aren't playable.
Then what was the point in me choosing wether or not to destroy or rewrite the Heretics? Why did I take Legion with me if all he was going to do is betray me in ME3?
Either we're facing Heretic Geth or Bioware just retcon'd the Legion's Geth storyline out of existence and made the Derelict Reaper chapter and Legion's loyalty mission completely useless filler.
I rather think it's the first, don't you?

its never an either or situation with Sci fi. Legion said geth process at lightspeed...not hard to believe that the heretics managed to either contain the rewrite or exit their platforms and continue operations elsewhere. who knows.

No she's saying that the Geth are my enemies. Why? I saved Legion. I rewrote the Heretics. Why would they betray me? I did all that because I thought Legion would put in a good word for me and I would take one of the Reaper's allies and put them on my side. If it was all for nothing, then why bother?
