It like, doesn't do jack squat... even if I use it when totally in cover then run out all the way out to the other side of the map and into a room full of enemies who had no possible way of glancing at me when I turned the cloak on- in cover, in another room, all the hell on the other side of the map may I remind you... THEY ALL still react as iff they can see me and will start blasting away while cloaked. WTF.

They "sense" you if you pass too near. And we can see other cloaked enemies easliy. Those phantoms seem like "predators" You can (and have to if you play on higher difficulties) spot them.
Or maybe you stood in crossfire and got shot?

Havent got any problems with mine tough. Unless i become cloaked in front of them or im the last one standing(they always find my location if im last) none of them responded me after. Got lots of backstabs on Nemesises and disable many mission devices like that.

Tactical cloak never worked like that.

Most of the time I think Cloak isn't working it turns out I was just standing between the enemy and another player.

Sometimes they 'see' me, but I'm not sure how, probably getting too close. I also suspect Guardians rotate to face you if no one else is around, but I'm not sure they actually see you, and don't fire.

Cloaking is a sign of weakness.

If you cloack and don't move, they will shoot at your last known position.

I do that plenty. Also I don't love people like you, by people like you I mean humans who are not blood related and live in the same house as me.

I don't think it is wrong, i think it is clever. Just think about it, in a multiplayer when you spot a Phantom and see her disappear what do you do, shoot the place and its proximity where she disappeared. I think if this behaviour of the enemy is intentional, it makes the AI more clever than in ME2.

Though cloaking was, I think, intended for assassination I tended to use it more for withdrawal. If I found myself flanked and dying with shields down I would cloak and withdraw to give me the few seconds needed to recharge barriers.

I felt every class needed something defensive like this - I used Tech Armour for the Sentinel, one of my favourites, which also helped me with the most hated enemies - husks that would keep knocking me back so I couldn't attack, swarming me in large numbers so I was constantly recoiling. Tech armour? BOOM problem solved.

It's also why I never played Adept in ME2. They had neither ammo modifications or protective, and even with the extra power you could only chose either Barrier or Warp Ammo... no way to have both.

Mobs will also shoot "suppressive fire" at your last known location. If you cloak and don't move, you will still take bullets.

It's actually really well done from what I can tell.
