Hi I have Athlon xp 2800 CPu. I know it is not supported.
Please Bioware, could you release in final version Nvidia texture tools nvtt.dll 2.03 (with SSE) and UE3 compiler which was before 2 years. This compiler works great on SSE and SSE2 Cpu-s.
I got crash at startup.

You shouldn't persist with wasting forum space on that long-dead horse.  You've already beaten on it until it's paste.  It'll never go now.

The AMD XP processors were nothing but trouble ever since they were created.

I can attest to that by having owned and used one for many years back when I couldn't afford to upgrade my PC more than once every 5 years.

I wouldn't count on any modern piece of software, games especially, to work properly on XP processors.

It would be nice, but I don't see Bioware doing anything to make the game more mod-friendly. We're lucky to get any sort of post-release patch.

:(

I'm sorry for getting boring but this is last hope for get socket A (462) support in compiler.
This demo forum will probably shut down after final release.
I'm just saying that to add this in compiler is not so big problem because other UE3 games are using old compiler settings and games perform very well on old and modern machines as well.
