 I bought DA:O Ultimate Edition a couple of years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. I enjoyed it so much that this whole franchise has become my favorite franchise in my entire life.

I was just wondering whether Bioware has announced an UE for DA2, I've been holding off from buying it and I would be REALLY excited if they would atleast announce that one is coming.

Please Bioware, do consider an Ultimate Edition for DA2. :D:D:D

I think at the moment it's not considered too viable since you could buy a new DAII, and the 2 dlc's out now for cheaper than a current ultimate edition.

There would only be like 3 DLCs included:
-Exiled Prince
-Legacy
-Mark of the assassin

I chose not to include the items pack as I think there personally not worth the MS points I paid for them.

So with three DLCs it's hardly worth paying for at the momemt. We need at least an expanison before an ultimate editon is considered

I meant once they  completely finish with DA2 they should make an UE.

Well I for one am not buying DA2 new or used until there is a Ultimate Edition. Then I'll get it new for the bonus if there is one, if not to support Bioware so they don't take so long next time to release one XD. But yeah, games going on a year old now but the last DLC was released October. It could be that there is more in the works or as has been said everyone's busy with ME3

I would buy it if they did one...but I'm still waiting for Mass Effect 2 ultimate edition...

I don't think there will ever be a Mass Effect 2 Ultimate ED.

I wouldn't hold my breath for a DA2 Ultimate Edition since so far there are only 3 DLCs and 2 Item packs. We've also heard no word on any new DLCs for DA2 so this may be all we get. I personally don't care and I'd rather have DA3 come out.

Like the OP the first version of DAO I bought was the Ultimate edition, on sale.  I played it nearly non-stop for about a year.  I loved it and played nearly every character type and story angle.

For DA2 I could never get past the demo (at least it saved me $60).

As far as DA2 being finished ... well technically it never will be.  The last DLC was cancelled so whatever the Developers had planned for DA2, we will never see it.  That being the case then even if they made a UE (and they already said that they are not) it would not feel like the complete story to me.
