I guess everyone played the demo by now. So did it make your wait even harder or are you disappointed?

For me, the demo had is ups and downs. MP is better than I expected but I expected the graphics and animations to be better. Story seems to be good(not great) although there are some cheesy dialogue lines in there.

I liked SP and Co-op.

Needs cutscene skipping, badly.

MP was better than expected.
SP, well, I guess it was about on par seeing as I'd already watched the beta leak vids.

So overall, I guess my expectations are raised from the demo.

SP, as it was. I enjoyed it overall, what I expected to be good was good and what I expected to be not so good was not so good.
MP far exceeded my expectations, it's very fun to play and generally addictive, and the randomized unlock system is unique and really rather cool.

Did not like being forced to carry 4 weapons on a Biotic class in Surkesh.

Other than that, I love the Multiplayer Demo and the Single player wasn't bad - Although I wish it was a different area than the one they've been showing since E3.

Personally I can't wait for this game. Was psyched about it before the demo, now even more. Been having a blast this morning running around on my krogan soldier punching and head butting everything in multiplayer.

The demo reminded me of DA2 in a bad way. The great sound surprised me however.

Excited about some things, disappointed about others. My expectations for the single-player haven't changed much but I'm more excited about multiplayer now.

Im backwards. I was hesitant about SP after DA2 and TOR, but I enjoyed the SP Demo greatly and I cant wait for the game to come out.

For MP, I was actually open minded and looking forward to trying it when everyone was hating on it, but now that I tried it, I dont like it at all. Its too multiplayer CoD or Gears of War, which i dislike. I wanted a MP mode similar to Bioware's older games where you could Co Op missions with friends, but oh well. At least its optional.

My expectations have been greatly lowered. Might be for the best though. Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised by the full game.

Actually the only thing I didn't like about the demo is that there's no in-game chat, afaik. At least it's not mapped to something normal.

I'm in two minds about it. I really enjoyed the single player but I'm concerned that too much might be left unexplained in regard to the gap between arrival and the beginning of ME3.

Perhaps once we get on the SR2 we'll get more background from the NPC's. Though at the end of the demo I was very much looking forward to playing the full game so I guess it done it's job.

Once I got used to some of the changes from ME2 I enjoyed it.  Can't wait for the game to be released.

Single Player met my expectations, since I saw the beta leaks. It's just fine.

Multiplayer is more fun than I thought it would be and more fun than most multiplayer games I own, including Halo: Reach.

The demo has me jazzed to play the real game. I know people are all doom and gloom right now, but it seems the things they're complaining about are either (a) extreme nitpicking, to the point of being ridiculous, or (B) things that may be real issues, but that I personally have the ability to overlook (e.g. sub-par graphics or less-than-Shakespeare-quality writing). I'm most excited about meeting up with old favorites (and man there are a **** ton of them) and visiting locations that we've always wanted to visit in the ME universe.

So yeah, if anyone at Bioware is listening, if you could pilot that ME3-carrying weather balloon over near my house, I'd sure appreciate it.

demo was ok, it still feels like mass effect, i really don't care about mutiplayer, so i won't say anything bout that
pos.- sound, music, mass effect feel universe, at least for me

neg.- some of animation, low texture, and of course lack of real option in conversation wheel, some really cheese cut-scenes and dialog, and of course to much autodialog of your character, (i want to be able to talk back to characters in game like i was doing in last 2 games, and not to put bioware making a decisions for me like they did in arrival dlc)

ohh, and one more thing, for the most anticipated game of year in this era of technology this is unacceptable:

so, my expectations have decline significantly :(

Pretty much this. The demo has earned the right to be compared to DA2, and now it needs to get some exposure and reviews before I would commit to actually buying it. Mansell was a great choice for the score though, his work is leaps and bounds ahead of Wall's work. However, his work has been best in intimate scenes and hasn't really done much in terms of large scale battles so we'll have to wait and see how that pans out.

mp- raised my expectations a fair bit. Considering its an addition to the SP experience its really enjoyabe.

Didn't like the SP dialogue, and the lack of choice or control at all, but I did like the new powers.

MP is pure love though.

SP can blow as much as I fear it will and I'll still buy the game for MP now.

I enjoyed the demo and I'm still looking forward to the game. I thought it was a bit weird being stuck to the same weapons layout despite what class I chose, but at least there were more powers to play with. It was fairly short and isn't a revolution in how it plays compared to ME2, but you could pick up weapon or armour parts this time and not just a random amount of cash, though disappointingly there wasn't the option available to customise these in the main demo (though there's some of that in the MP demo).
