Couldn't you afford dedicated servers or server browser that shows the ping? I'm tired of finding a decent group for silver or gold challenge with experienced players.
With this kind of matchmaking system, either you join a room with full of AFKs or full of newbies. When you found a group with pro players, you receive this message when the game started,
"Please wait"
"Your connection to the game has been lost."
If you don't believe me that this multiplayer is based on a peer to peer connection, go create a room, be the leader (host) and try it out yourself. You will be surprised of how smooth the game is because you are the host. Even the broken Battlefield has dedicated servers, one of the few things they did right.
