"Electronic Arts' Origin Store launched a deal earlier on Tuesday that gave away Battlefield 3 on the PC for free with pre-orders of Mass Effect 3 on the Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. That deal apparently was just too good as we received word on Thursday that Origin ended the promotion two and half weeks early."
