Do you have Winamp?

No, but that's ok. It's probably better to hear all the audio in the actual game.

Does anyone know why the audio cuts off at the end of each clip?

I have the same issue and no one's figured it out.

This seems to be an audio player issue rather than file one. It cuts off for me in VLC, but in Media Player classic and Windows Media Player with these filters installed it plays to the end.

Oh, BTW, for newer versions of WMP, grab these and install them:

For those with issues, my files played fine everywhere after I installed these.

EDIT: Whoops, beat me to it.

So how much dialogue seems to have been cut from the intro for the demo? hopefully, a sizable amount.

None, really. There are some different lines to reflect imports, and whether you are a reinstated Spectre. Other then that, there is nothing missing.

I've updated the original post with some FAQ to make the tool easier to handle. Also, this is a bump.

Why is it that the output files wont play in VLC? It only playson media player classic and there i have not even a timeline. The files wont properly be accepted by Sony Vegas too.. whats wrong with these files?I cant convert them I cant get them into vegas. Is somethng wrong with the header?

I'm not sure of the reason why it doesn't play properly in some programs, it might be the headers. If you wish to use it somewhere where it doesn't work, you should consider opening it with audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/) and exporting i.e. as a .wav file or an .flac one, they should work everywhere.

Just wanted to say that it works well with the full game, listening to some ME3 music right now (I can't access the game until friday as I'm in europe, but I pre-downloaded the files from origin). Also updated the faq a bit.

Thanks for updating this tool :-)
My old guide to finding certain audio snippets seems to be generally valid still (see signature). I can't promise that it will be updated with the specific location and character codes. But sooner or later, it's going to itch too much to not updating it ;-)

It might be because co.cc is a free domain hosting site, so it probably hosts a lot of strange things. I guarantee tho that there's nothing malicious about my site :P.

I don't have the game for PC so I can't export anything myself, but if anyone could find and upload one or a few (I believe she has several) lines of Traynor announcing new messages, I'd be very, very grateful =)

Then I'd have Joker, Kelly and Samantha telling me about new messages, with a different voice for every source! =D

Actually, as i learned recently, the SFX are located in .pcc files. I think i'm going to update the extractor with the feature of extracting audio from those files soon (as i already know how to do it).

That would be wicked m8ie :0)

I'm already a huge fan of this tool, been using it all day to sniff around in the ME3 files ^o^
