i dont see anyhting in my origin games and p.s i bought it with CD and if u dont know some please uplaod the audio files to Mediafire or something PLEASE!!! thank U!

When you say you don't see anything, do you mean you don't see your game?, or just not the .PCC files?

With a CD it's possible you have installed it directly to one of your "Program" directories, as I recall it, if you have both a "Program Files" and a "Program Files (x86)", it should be located in the "(x86)" as either a "BioWare" or "Mass Effect 3" folder.

Something else you can try is open a window and navigate to your C: (or what ever your main drive is called) and in the search window and paste in the following line:

adv_combat_tutorial_pc_D_Int.afc

or simply:

.afc

If the files are installed on your computer, it should now direct you to them and once you have the search result, just right-click one of the results and select "open file location" (I think it's called in English :P ) and you should be redirectedto the rest of the files ;0)

Great tool thanks. I found Codex Audio in 'PlotManagerAuto_Int.afc'. Not sure if it's all there, haven't listened to them all yet but it looks like it so far.

Anyone know what multiplayer files are named? Trying to find the "for tuchanka!" krogan cry but had no luck so far

EDIT: FOund they're in pcc files. Found the pcc files, extracted them. Now left with lots of wwisestream and wwiseevent files that I'm guessing contain that tiny sound clip I want, but no clue how to proceed for here. Anyone?

Which tool do you use to extract files from .PCC files? 0.0

I've created a temporary solution for those itchy to get the sound out of .pcc files. I'll include this option in the update to the full tool in a few days.

1. Download and extract this: extractME3audio.rar
2. Copy the desired .pcc file to the same directory as the extracted files
3. Drag and drop the pcc file to decompress.exe
4. Copy the decompressed file (from 'unpacked' directory) over the one with the same name directory above
5. Drag and drop the file to ME3extractaudio.exe

I hope I haven't over-complicated these instructions. If nothing extracts, it means the pcc file contains no audio. Anyway, the full update will be on in a few days.

Note: decompress (from http://gildor.org/ ) and my ME3extractaudio are both command-line tools, so you can use them from cmd without all this file-copying.

That works beautifully, thank you so much!

Still haven't found my "for tuchanka" though. Thought it would be in the krogan files marked localization, english, but that doesn't actually have any audio according to the extractor - and the file size.

It's strange, it seems to extract sound files from some of the .PCCs, but after a split second they disappear again ??? O.o

"For Tuchanka!" is in the VocalizationBanks .afc file. They're numbered 1625 and 1737 when extracted with kyp's tool.

OP, this tool is awesome. Thank you so much for sharing with us!

Has anyone come across the sound file that plays when you trigger an interrupt? I've been searching and searching, but to no avail.

Paragon and Renegade interrupts are 635 and 636 in SFXGame.pcc. It seems the Paragon interrupt sound needs to be sped up about 25% to make it sound right, though.

They're in the .pcc files beginning with SFXWeapon, i.e. SFXWeapon_SniperRifle_BlackWidow.pcc

The music is located in several different AFC files, and separated into small 1 minute segments for dynamic music

They should be in wwise_msnname_streaming.afc

E.G. wwise_gth002_streaming.afc, index 007-023 has background music for mission gth002

Hmm, i think the instructions i wrote for this temporary tool are a bit clumsy, as these files extract fine for me.

Are you sure you're using the 'decompress' on the file first, and then 'extractaudio' on the decompressed one? I.e. SFXWeapon_SniperRifle_BlackWidow.pcc has 850 KB before decompressing and 2450 KB after, you should use the tool on the larger one (it's created in 'unpacked' directory).
Just be sure to copy it to the same folder as 'ME3extractaudio' before drag-and-dropping, as it won't work otherwise.

Also, make sure you're not doing it in some restricted location (like program files) that could prevent unauthorized apps from creating new files.

No no, the instructions are fine, and most of what you mention is correct, but for some reason when I extract files, like lets say the "SFXWeapon_SniperRifle_BlackWidow.pcc", some files will be extracted and I can see them for a split second, but then they disappear again

Could it have something to do with the mentioned "restricted location"?

I've tried changing the location, but get the same result, is there a way to bypass these types of restrictions in some way?

I think you should be able to find most (if not all) of it under this prefix: "Wwise_Crt_Reap_"

Unfortunately I have found nothing. Already begun search in .PCC files, but so far without success...

Okay, now this was a very silly mistake on my part, sorry :P. Download it again here, it should work now.

Basically, i forgot to put " " when passing file position/name to ww2ogg, the external file converter. This way it worked fine if there were no spaces in file path, and didn't convert if there were any spaces.
