Multiplayer section of Mass Effect 3 Demo have some problem with my BigFoot Killer 2100,
this is a NPU,
this networking board ha cpu and ram integrate, its made for on-line game.

I have the same issue with mine.
If it helps my specs are:
OS: Win 7 Ultimate x64
CPU: Intel core i7-950
MB: Asus Rampage III extreme
GPU: Nvidia Gtx580
Ram: G.Skill Ripjaws 1600MHz 4gb x3

i upgrade the drive of my NPU, i'm able to play, bot the problem its for EA server not for my or you computer,
anyway this is my configuration :
cpu = Intel I 7 2600 k 4,200 ghz
mb = Asus Maximus IV Extreme
gpu= Amd\\Ati hd 9670 2 gb
ram= 8 gb 1600 mhz

well you basicly bought snake oil
that thing will do nothing for a Peer to Peer game like the ME3 mutliplayer as your limited by the weakest link ie every one else
tl;dr
your 200 buck nic is worthless for ME3
