Cayden Elanko is pretty much Michael Cera. Nothin against Michael Cera, but I don't want someone on my team that sounds like "Gee wiz Commander it sure blow that the council doesn't believe in us. I sure do wish there was somethin we could do. Oh we're gonna take the Normandy anyways and save the Galaxy? That's cool I guess, I mean if you really wanna do that I mean."

Liara and Mordin for the same reason really. They were just there, the Doctor that didn't really fit in my team of Soldiers, Cops, Mercenaries, etc. And I never really used either since I never really had a need to use any of their abilities.

I have literally no idea who "Cayden Elanko" is.

All the characters are likable, but they can be annoying too, except for Udina, Hock, and the volus Kor Tun, like you said. I agree that Quarians are AWESOME (hence my pic).

Miranda is a ***** and complains about being perfect, but she's still a little interesting as a person. And I don't understand why people hate on Liara. It's just my opinion, but I think she is really cool. And she's gangster after LOTSB.

In no particular order, I'd go with these I think....

The Turian Council Member....such an ass, 'nuff said.  I let the council die just to get rid of him.

Conrad (the fan).....he creeps me out in so many ways.  Even his facial animations are off-putting.

Ambassador Udina.....I know he means well, but his attitude is so terrible.  I wish there was a way to not deal with him in ME1.

Hanar....all of them.  I hate their weird pulsating jellyfishness and was glad to see them minimized in ME2.  I hope they don't make a particularly prominent return.

Everyone that disagrees with Shepard.  I'm frickin' Commander Shepard, savior of the universe, first human spectre, a man/woman that knows what's what.  Listen to me because I am always right, you morons.  Its like how when "24" was on TV after like a bajillion seasons there would still be characters that defied Jack Bauer.  Don't question me, just do it already!  There need to be more "shoot people in the knee and then ram their face through a window" options to settle disputes with the jerkwads of the ME world.

And i agree with you jcb231, conrad is just creepy. Hes kinda like our own personal stalker.
Then there's Jacob. is he a closet psychopath or just really lame?

On a side note. I really like wrex, as long as im not on the receiving end of his wrath.

 01. Liara- I actually liked her in the first Mass Effect. But once BioWare decided to scrap the fact that players had the option to be a royal jerk to her, threaten to dump her butt back on Therum, and be downright unfriendly she gets the best friend treatment in ME2. In LotSB she's the damsel in distress, especially for heterosexual FemShep and ManShep that has other romances. Heck they save Liara and not their own bro/LI when the Shadow Broker attacks. Not to mention she's an established canon friend even if we play an anti-alien Shep. I wouldn't hate her so much if she wasn't shoved in our faces so badly. Not only does she have to be the center of everything BUT she HAS to be our friend and there always has to be implied feelings there even if there is none.

02. Turian Councilor- For someone whose supposed to be overseeing the entire galaxy he seems to have this agenda against Shepard just because he doesn't like humanity. That's a problem when entire civilizations are at stake and he chooses to put his personal feelings in just to have a one-up on Shepard. 

03. Sheploo- He's shoved in our faces despite the fact Shepard can be a woman, a blonde, a minority, etc...yet it's always the whitebread archetype that becomes posterboy. Like Liara his image is shoved in our faces so much (although I admit BioWare's done well with marketing for this one by promoting FemShep as well). Still I don't like Sheploo's face at all. Maybe if I actually liked his face I wouldn't mind. 

04. Grunt- I never saw the appeal for Grunt. He's just a really, really boring character to me. He's a created engineered soldier. Like Miranda without the looks or personality (oh wait I forgot its only female characters that get the special treatment other than protagonists in Bioware's games while males are an afterthought, but that's another topic for another thread). Plus he's way too dangerous to keep around.  

05. Diana Allers- I know it's kind of soon, but I've always hated celebrity inserts. Yvonne is merely a model and not an obsessed fan while Seth Green was Joker from inception. But it seems Diana's got the Tallis' treatment. Plus she looks like Snooki when there's so many possibilities other than the dark haired white girl trope (yes Bioware, there's other women in the world besides red and dark haired white girls. There's Asians, Latinas, Africans, Middle Easterns and yes...even blonde and brown-haired white girls. For a game where all the races are mixed at least acknowledge that. If you can't please take advantage of the diversity in hair color. Thanks). That much needed little snipper said I hope she at least has Chobot's personality.

Diana Allers - I was willing to give the character a chance until I read an interview with Jessica Chobot going on about how she's gonna romance herself "so hard!" Ugh. Narcissist in real life and probably a narcissist in ME3...
