Actually, I quite like Kaiden, Miranda and Garrus. The only one I'm not too fond of is Jack...I want that nut case off my ship.

Edit: Joker is by far my favourite minor character.

1. Liara - She changes too much, found her really jugdemental in 2 even when she was the cause of what she is judging me on. Couldn't she have stayed on the SB base to pull strings like so many other characters are off doing thier own thing to help.

2. Jacob - Just Boring, I done he loyalty mission and felt nothing for his Character, the Video and Description in SB didn't help or finding out about his "romance" dialogue, nice see Shep as a prize...

3. Kelly - Opposite to someone above....NO I don't have a new message I've already read it. Plus she won't feed my fish without a date, isn't that kind of part of her job anyway. Keep Sheps mental health good and not leave him mourn millions of fish.

4. I don't think I have one or a 5, even bad characters I grew to like in some ways, be it Saren or Conrad Verner, Jack or Miranda. There probably is one but can't think of them now and if I can't I probably don't dislike them that much unless I overthink it.

Well I could probably lsit half of ME3 squad, but I'd rather point out that while everyone got a lot of haters(dislikes) here even the so called "fan favourites"(yes I'm looking at you Tali. Why are you and Garrus full squadies in all games again?) Kasumi had none. She appeared only once, but that was as Kasumi/Zaeed. Morons who dislike DLC characters just becasue they are DLC charactters, don't count.

1. Udina - Fantastic bastard of a character. I guess I love to hate him
. :D

Not sure if you saw my list but Udina is hands down my most hated character. I don't know if that was BW goal for him becuase out of all the characters fans seem to be able to agree on hating Udina and that is the only character I know of like that.

Some of the TIM fans like Udina.

Personally, I consider him too much of a joke to hate.

And thank you Cthulhu42 for showing and saying that there is people who find something to like about Udina. I already said The same thing about Conrad Verner.

I assume it was Bioware's goal. I think he's a fantastic character, he's everything that wrong about human politics and yet, at the same time some part of me justifies his attitude and behaviour because, it's needed somewhat.

To contribute to other discussions; Jacob, I never saw a problem with him, don't see why he gets a lot of flak but I play as Male Shep so... >.>

Er,, depending on if you mean hate them as a charachter or as an actual person.

Miranda I hate as both, completey dsliked her as a person but would have found her an interesting charachter if my Shep was ever able to call her out on some of the things she said. Ended up feeling like BW was not making disliking her an option by the end. Although if this was a male version of Miranda I probably would have been a hypocrite and romanced anyway, main problem was she seemed to be created for male players XD

Ashley is probably one of my favourite charachters, even though I SEVERELY dislike her and have never saved her at Virmire yet, because she seems so REAL. Story about her sisters always sends me on a guilt trip when I think about Virmire, VA was great for role.

TIM same above, relished every chance to call him out and aiming to nuke Cerberus indoctrinated or not in ME3, but loved his affably evil role.

Udina and the Council, because they're jerks obviously.

Jack seems like a really unpleasant person to be around, to put it lightly. I know she has reasons to hate the world but it's like, I gotta save the galaxy here don't have time to play Dr. Phil with everyone on the ship.

Thane, I would forget he was there half the time, and I just dislike the way he was written as a romance ("I'm dying, I'm still in love with my dead wife, my son hates me, I get creepy flashbacks every 2 minutes..." yeah so hot...)

That reporter Khalisa Al-herpaderpina whatever her name is, was pretty fun punching her in the face bahaha

I assuemd you meant you were tired of how other people saw her as a sex icon. Did you mean she "becomes" a sex icon in-game? In that case... how? The only times she does anything inherently flirty or sensual (Indeed, anything close to "sex icon") is during the romance.

I was more targetting specificaly how her entire appearance has created the as you mentioned 'oo dat ass' atitude. There are cutscenes tailored to this, and obviously her romance is one of them, and not really relevant to what I was getting at. Characters like Jack, Tali, Ashley, the asari, shepard obvi, they all have the standard female model, whilst Miranda has her own. So, as I've mentioned, personality is a like. She just has a... 'everything is too tailored and perfect' feel. Its kind of comparable to Lara Croft. Exceptionally intelligent, fan made sex icon. :)

Ah. I see where you're coming from. To be completely fair, the only glorifying cutscene (I know what you're referring to) happens once, albeit completely during the wrong time. I'm more than willing to blame that on a horny conversation animator though. I don't know about the comparison to Lara Croft (I mean, I don't know about her personality, I know she's a ridiculously overplayed "sex icon"). In regards to your point about "perfect", that's explained in-game (Her 1st and 2nd conversations on the Normandy), and I personally think it's a devious little ethical dilemma.

As someone who likes Miranda, I despise the mentality that went into her in-game character model sculpt, as much as I despise the people who think it's the only facet to her.

My problem comes when people dislike Miranda wfor beinga sex icon (which I do) but don't apply the same attitude for Jacob. Just as Miranda seems to have been created only for sex appeal, it's very very similar with Jacob. To me both characters feel very empty and flat.

Not to mention how irriating Miranda's personality is to me. I'm a very fuzzy, warm person. So Miranda's coldness just rubs me completely the wrong way. I get the reasoning behind her cold behavior but it still is not something I enjoy. She's not a character I hate (besides the way she is handled but that's the devs fault), but she is someone I dislike.

Although, if you're trying to argue she only gets turned into a sex object once.. Well. It seems to me that they seem to find a way to work a shot at her ass or boobs into nearly ever scene she's in. Not to mention that if you compare her LI scene to the other female love scenes.. hers are noticably more explicit. (Same with Jacob compared to other male LI scenes)

I'm talking about the talk between Miranda and Shepard about Oriana. It's the only scene in the game that makes her backside the sole focus of the camera. Every other time her body passes into view, it's during missions, where any other squadmate (Or Shepard) passes into view. It doesn't make her the specific focus of the camera. The main reason her romance scene (And Jacob's) are because they're both human. You know for a solid fact humans can have sex with one another. Human-turian, human-drell, or human-quarian is... hard to put down and show. If Ashley or Kaidan had been continuable in the romance (Or even Liara), it would be the same.

That's probably the reason. Have you watched FemShep's conversations with Jacob on youtube? It's very difficult to find dialogue choices that don't sound flirty with him, and FemShep's tone of voice makes me feel like someone assumed direct control of her personality. xD I've never hated Jacob for it. I'm just neutral towards him, when in the beginning, I thought he would be a great friendship character. Unfortunately, I haven't been talking to Jacob much at all with a FemShep for fear of romance traps.

I've seen some people say that they don't like the way he doesn't want to talk about his past/problems like every other squadmate who will just open up to you, but I don't mind it. Some of my own Shepards react the same way when Liara looks up their past info in ME1. It's realistic.

I don't actually dislike or hate any characters but there are a few that just haven't connected with me or my Shep. Like Jacob or Miranda, I do like them but them just faded into the background during ME2 for me.

You know which character I really hate…. The husks.

I mean come on, they have practically no character depth. They have never even spoken more to me than an ominous UHHHHHHH sound which I find particularly displeasing. They might have been redeemed in my eyes if at least some form of communication was attempted between them and my Shepard but no! Since square one on Eden Prime they have just be overall not very nice. I mean come on, a spike through their chest?! Get over it. Just because they had a bad day doesn’t mean they need to ruin it for me and my Shepard. I was just innocently walking along and then the husks just walked up and started punching my Shepard in the face. IN FACT, they didn’t even have the decency to punch. Rather they had to do some weird arm-cross-lunge thing that I now have to put effort into describing.

Overall husks just seem overly lacking in good character qualities. They never speak or change their body expressions and they look ugly. In fact it is probably fair to say that Bioware has actually created “negative values” of character since the people upon which the husks were made probably had at least some human characteristics upon which I could have entertained myself. But no, rather I have had to deal with the character of the husk and their annoying UHHHHHHHH!!!!

I just hate the way bioware created the husk character. It lacks so much depth it’s practically zombified.
