I'd figure that someone at Udina's level would know how to be more charming and diplomatic. His dialogue with Shepard is nothing you'd expect from a politician. I don't remember what he says exactly. Something like "you were useful then, but now you're just a pain in the rear." A good politician would view Shepard as a tool that could be used to his advantage, and not say things so stupid and offensive.

Yeah, take a look at Mass Effect 2 credits. Most voice actors for the Quarians (except Adam Baldwin) are from Middle East

Claudia Black (Daro'Xen) is Australian/British, Simon Templeman (Han'Gerrel) is British, Martin Jarvis (Zaal'Koris) is British, Adam Baldwin (Kal'Reegar) is American and Liz Sroka (Tali) naturally has an American accent but is faking what sounds to me like an Eastern European accent. Shoreh Aghdashloo (Shala'Raan) is Iranian, so that's one.

I can't find Veetor, Prazza or Rael'Zorah's VAs, but Veetor sounds Canadian, Prazza sounds like he's mimicking Tali's fake accent and Rael'Zorah sounds like a mad German scientist from a B-Movie. Quarians don't really have a set accent, they just hired a bunch of random people and called it a day.

1)  Jack
The type of personality Jack has is something which I've never liked in any kind of story, don't care when she's giving people s***, don't care when you find out a little more about her & the game is trying to get you to like her. I don't like her physical look either or her choice of clothing. She sat out every mission except for the ones she had to go on.

2) Liara
Couldn't stand her for most of ME1, she gradually got better as a character in ME2+DLC but she really put me off the whole Asari race in ME1. It took Aria to make me realize Asari's can be awesome.

3) Emily Wong
...I feel like I want to punch her every time I see her...

4) Tali
I actually preferred Tali in ME1 funnily enough, a little stuck up at times but far too nice for me personally and listening to her stories and her voice is like nails on a chalkboard...at least for me. Never got into her like other people did but I'll make it clear right now, I don't hate Tali since I only truly hate Jack.

5) Kaidan
One word: Bland. I have no reason to hate this guy but I dislike him for the simple reason I found him utterly boring, he has potential to be a much more interesting character but felt like they never gave much time to his writing. Compared to Ashley at least she has something to make people either fall in love with or loathe. Kaiden is just right in the middle, average if you will.

Jack is the only character I disliked in either ME1 or ME2.

She was a walking cliche with no likeable aspect to her personality.

I didn't have particularly strong negative feeling towards anyone but if I'd name few I disliked then...

*Liara - disliked her from the first moment we met in ME1.
*Jack - Clearly unstable and uncontrollable. Such a stupid risk to drag her along - would have just airlocked her if I had the option. Not a bad character tho.
*Jacob - You typical musclebound yet soft-hearted soldierboy. As meh as one can get.
*Thane - I really saw no use to this guy, pretty unmemorable as well.
*Grunt & Legion - would never take a krogan and a potentially uncontrollable AI on my ship - luckily, I didn't have to.

The only important characters that people will mostly agree on are the Council. Aside from that, many of the more universally-despicable characters are very minor and were likely written specifically to be hated and despised.

And, like many of the people here have said, one person's least favorite squadmate will be the favorite of dozens more.

She has an Australian accent, it is not mixed.  In Uncharted 2&3 she uses her natural voice and accent.  I don't get where this mix thing comes from.  Unless it's because Americans expect us all to sound like that moron Paul Hogan or that crocodile idiot <_< We do not.  Not those of us with brains.

I'm one of those oddballs who doesn't actually dislike anyone in the series. Everyone's either a minor character not worth expending emotion on one way or another, or a prominent face who has their own ups/downs that I love them at least a little bit for.

Is a hate thread reallythe right place to defend a character?

Hate list
1. Kaidan. I find it funny that people often compare him to Jacob because Jacobis kinda boring because he reveals very little about himself but kaidan gives his whole life story and is still boring. I don't hate him really but rather I'm indifferent and someone I feel nothing towards can't add to the game

2. Tali because of her inability to see any point ofview but her own. I find her to be the most prejudice character because her hate of the geth is both so strong and so unreasonable

3. Liara.I find her transformation from 1 to 2 both too extreme and unreasonable. I once saw someone describe her as a plot device that finds whatever role is needed at a certain moment and I agree with this asessment. Tome she isn't a character but a plot tool.

4. Garrus. Having served both in the turian military and c-sec he should be more sure3 of himself and a stronger character( as in having character)but instead he is far too easily pushed and pulled in the directions others choose for him

5. Jack. I tried to romance Jack twice because I heard her romance was well written but  failed twice. I just can't bring myself to care about someone so full of hate and rage. Also no one who fights in close combat should where just a strap

It isn't actual hate, I don't scream at my screen "I hate you, I hate you, you miserable being of depravity", but there are some I like to avoid when it's possible. But for I am a completionist, it isn't. Hah, clever trap, very sinister.

1. Farmer Girl on Eden Prime. I just can't take the voice acting. I can't. I've tried. But I can't.
2. Tali. In the first game, she was more of a walking-talking codex entry. In the second one, she got a personality, but I find it hard to agree with her ideals. I don't hate the character itself. But I hate the portrayal, that she is presented as the innocent little victim while she has genocidal tendencies. If it won't change, she stays.
3. Donovan Hock. While he would be a great James Bond villain (and I get it, I get it, the point of that DLC was to be James Bond-esque), I find him to be... out of place too much.
4. Nyxeris. Because come on, it's way too obvious.
5. Michael Petrovsky and Rebekah. Because they are willing to bet the child's health on some random stranger approaching her.That's just... bah.

But to give something shiny, so we have some love in here too, the favourites are:
1. Mordin
2. Ash
3. Wrex
4. T.I.M (or LIM - Le illusive monsieur, as ediskrad327 said itO)
5. Rannadril Ghan Swa Fulsoom Karaten Narr Eadi Bel Anoleis (yes, because I actually learned the name)
