 I can't seem to figure out how to change weapons in the multiplayer. I heard that there's no wheel anymore and that it will be a button, but can't figure out which button it is. 

And just a point I'd like to throw out there.... It would be nice if the loading screen that shows the controller layout would show they layout for multiplayer and not single player. Just sayin.

The MP portion can be a little tricky at first.

If you are using the Xbox version:

Tap X - Reload
Hold X - Change Weapon

Also of note, if you are buying the recruit of verteran packs between sessions you will often receive 1-3 Cobra Missle Launcher/s. When in MP hit the top of the d-pad to choose the missle launcher. Use it (one shot) to take out the mechs. Once done with the shot, hold X to change back to your primary weapon.

It's a bit awkward in the MP given that you can't use the paused menu to do it for obvious reasons. I'd love to see Bioware have a smoother way of doing this though, I'm on PC and keep accidently selecting my heavy weapon instead of my assault rifle!

How do you switch weapons on the PS3?

I can't see why they had to change the controls from single player? The owed shoulder buttons don't do anything now.
