I am terrible sorry if this question already have been asked but I cannot find any information about it.
This question have been on my mind for a very long time now so I must ask. What are the translators? I understand what they are, as in they translate text/sounds, but I do not know what it is.
The only logic option I can think of is some kind of Implant but in a way that feels somewhat wrong as well.

Anyone who can enlighten me here?
