I have been noticing that there's quite a lot of sound stuttering in my game, I had this issue in Mass Effect 2 as well, but is there any way to fix it? I have some lag spikes occasionally and I understand if it stutters then but it seems to stutter and crackle even when there's not lag sometimes? I would very much appreciate help

Do you have single core processor? I'm not sure but I remember reading it caused stuttering in ME2 as well.

Intel Pentium D CPU 3.00GHz, 2992 Mhz, 2 Cores, 2 Logical Processors
that's what it says in System Information.

Hmh, well you could try to clean install latest audio card drivers, it can be driver related.

I noticed some stuck looping sounds when using the sniper scope they'd be very faint, also the running footstep sound sometimes stucks in a loop after a game and stays in the lobby.

quad core here and most recent sound drivers are installed...
it seems to be related to how many sounds there are in total. solo bronze works without a hitch, only when 4 people and the enemy is shooting, the sound stutters.

hmm well my issue was with my USB headset conflicting with the in built sound controls
if it helps, assuming you're on windows 7, go to device manager then look under Sound, video and game controllers. if you have 2 or more devices there you're going to have to disable one
other then that I'm clueless why you have audio problems

I think that fixed it! I just tried playing the single player demo again and it didn't stutter in those parts of cutscenes, where it stuttered before, thank you so much!
I disabled the other devices and I also updated the driver software from there, before I searched for it myself on the internet and downloaded it from realtek's website but I guess that wasn't the right one then, anyway thanks a lot to everyone who posted in this thread, I am very grateful to you all

I want to try and see if this solves my sound stuttering/delay issues. But, I have 6 items under sound, video and game controllers: Bluetooth Hands-free audio, NVIDIA High Definition Audio (4 of these), Realtek High Definition Audio.
Should I just try disabling the Bluetooth one and see if that works? Also, I'm am on windows 7 64-bit.

You should try that, but if it persist Nvidia ones are probably causing conflict with Realtek ones.Kenisis88 wrote...
